I just read the news about this deadly virus was not under control in Congo, Africa, where the hygiene and all other conditions are the worst in the world. Many people were die of this virus, and some world health workers also got infected and lost their lives. Honestly, I don't know much about this so called "Ebola" virus, and how worst can it get if a normal human being got infected? I heard it will be bleeding within your internal organs, and it is incurable. We should watch out our daily health, and eating, although we are safer in other countries.

That is scary especially if that is airborne...people could get infected anywhere if that is not quarantined immediately.

They can't quarantine it..it disappears and literally takes off into the jungles. They burn the entire village when it hits and they burn the corpses if I'm not mistaken. Yet, it still appears somewhere else...this has been going on for a long time and it's one of the most scariest viruses in our time.

Do you want to hear something really creepy? I heard a program once on the radio about the Ebola virus many years ago and this doctor, who just came back from there, said he just felt like this virus had an intelligence. Can you imagine? How creepy is that? He was there helping as much as he could and was there for years.
He also said that this virus comes into the villages very quickly, infects the people that live there, and then LEAVES.....just like it knows what it is doing. In other words, it does its destruction and then runs away so it's not caught, and they find no more traces of it. Then eventually it moves on to another village and does the same thing throughout the jungles.
I will never forget that interview and it still gives me the willy's. Just the thought, that something like this, has some sort of intelligence is too much to comprehend and it's just plain freaky.

What the heck, so it is like some ghost doing it, or some sort of Alien virus, that try to destroy the human race bit by bit? I just can't imagine how that virus get alive at the first place.

Think about this. They say that with antibiotics if you have too much of one, you get immune to it and it doesn't work anymore. That means that the bacteria is getting stronger and they found a way to over power the antibiotic. How does it do that? Did you ever wonder? Years ago you didn't have to worry about that, but now you do. This is why doctors don't even like giving antibiotics out any more because sometimes they don't even work like they used to.
The Ebola virus just plain gives me the creeps, since it seems to attack, and then take off. And the problem is, they have no idea where it goes to, and sometimes disappears for months..then strikes again. They just never know when it will do its damage. Just like the AIDS virus..they say it came from a monkey to begin with. So where did this monkey get it from? Soooooo creeeepy!

Hey, Kash! You're creepin' me out. Eewww. Gaaaak. GD. I looked it up in Wiki and it's a nasty, wormy looking thing. I was gonna eat but I think I'll pass. But I have an answer about where did the monkey get HIV. From studies they've done, scientists have come to the conclusion that primates have had SIV (simian immunodeficiency virus) for about 32,000yrs. They believe HIV evolved from this when it was transferred to humans in the late 19th or early 20th century. What I want to know is how did it transfer from primates to humans? Hmmmm

I always wondered how the people pf Africa can endure som much pain and sufferage. If you have noticed, for years, one country or the other in that continet suffers from Nature's fury or man made catastrophes. Either war, poverty or floods keeps on hitting them hard one after the other. I hope atleast some time they would have respite from all these and have a bettere life like other parts of the world.

That is an alarming news then. I know Ebola is highly contagious and so far there is no known cure for this disease. The danger for this is when the virus starts to spread outside the borders of Congo. I hope they can contain this virus from within the country so we would not be having epidemic for this kind of disease.

It sounds very scary, very evil too. It seems like the ebola virus kills its victim at a super fast rate. I heard that the AIDS virus first appeared in Africa and I think ebola virus too started in Africa. Both of these diseases are deadly. There are no cures yet. But why Africa? Africa is Africa, not America. People there, I am sure do not take as much antibiotic as Americans do. I am sure natives there have their own ways of treating common sickness, which is usually through use of traditional herbs. So, there shouldn't be any super mutated virus. But this is just my two cents theory. I have never been to Africa but I know there are many places there people are still poor, can't afford to travel to see a proper doctor who is the one to dispense antibiotics to the sick. Can this be the work of evil people? I mean like some group of people, very evil and powerful, carry out a deadly mission by testing a new biological weapon, using virus, and they chose to do it in Africa.

I agree completely, especially if you know people have gone over there. I remember when I took a vacation to the Dominican. There was some outbreak (cant remember), its in their water. You shouldnt drink, or get the water in your mouth or eyes. Luckily noone I knew got infected, but its really scary and you worry about it the entire time.

It is really horrible and I hope that people in medical field will soon discover a vaccine for it. Furthermore, I hope they can find ways to cure the disease even if the person who was infected of it is in the worst stage. Honestly, at present I think the best thing we can do is to pray for mankind. And let us always take care of our environment in order for us to live in a healthier place. We must also have healthy lifestyle and proper exercise.
