well ,you know , for some people they are dreaming about becoming gorgeous, even though they are already beautiful, especially for the movie stars, one of my friends told me that one day' i am saving money in order to have a double eyelid surgery, you know we all student and we don't have salaries. for our ordinary people, does it really necessary to save a lot of money to beautify ourselves through a surgery, just for the reasons to become more beatiful?

Hello! Nice to meet you. The way I look at it, it's perfectly fine. I mean, I put on lipstick, mascara, etc. in order to beautify myself. Plastic surgery is just the same thing, except it is permanent. There is no difference between make up and plastic surgery to me, except that one method of beautification you wash off. That is about it. But to me, the same thing. I think it's rather wrong to condemn people for such a thing and then go out and paint my nails, lol. Whether it's fashion, high heels, eye brow pencil or and eye lift, it's all really the same thing

your point is also true, but make-up is not similar to surgery at all, you know for some people , they take plastic surgery, but they will suffer a lot when they are old, their skins become awful and their bones make so much pain. everything come with price.

Why would you ask someone else if it is worth it. In my mind the more natural someone is the more beautiful they are. When it comes down to it thought, all that matters is if your comfortable in your skin. If it is going to take plastic surgery to make you feel comfortable in your skin, then yes its worth it, but if your already comfortable in your skin, then no its not worth it

When i think of plastic surgery i think of altering something about your face or body to make it "better" because we are not happy about it.. We need to think about the children what kind of message we are giving off to them when we do these sorts of things..We are taught to be happy with what God gave us and should embrace them instead of find faults in them.. It is hard for me too when i see other celebrities who i think are beautiful with perfect body..I think we should focus on the inner beauty rather than the outer beauty..We should focus on eating healthy, exercising and find ways to make us people really happy rather than temporary solutions... We tend to forget that photographers make them look really good but in the real world they too suffer with the same things we do ie: insecurities, acnes, Just because we think they are beautiful on the outside in doesn't necessarily mean they are just as beautiful on the inside..

that's true, we should not care about ourselves merely, think about the children, just imagine that we spend a lot of money on plastic surgery , and on e day,our children tell us,they want to seem more beatiful too, aha, what a fortune would you spend.besides, just think about your beloved will be suffered from the scapel, it's awful.

I find that with once that you've already gone under the knife there is always a chance that you will do it again....It takes a lot of money to find real good surgeons out there..I've seen in magazines where a surgery has gone wrong if there the case I'd rather keep my own face or my real boobs..hahaha

Yes, I'm aging... - But I'm still smiling...as long as my health is Ok: my appearance is not something I lose sleep about. But I want to stay well; or there'll be tears, believe me...
I'd never have it in a million years, because I'd be too frightened of something going wrong, and the thought I might suffer pain or complications. The fact is I'm aging, and my appearance is not something that unduly concerns me about the process. Although of course, if I still look good for my age, I'm thrilled and delighted, but I'd not have plasting surgery to preseve my youth, no way. I can understand why some would want to have it: I don't have too many lines, but were I to have my jawline tightened, I might look a lot better, and I can see how some would be tempted to have this done. But: fundamentally altering the appearance; that is something I understand less. In terms of aging, I'm infinitely more concerned about my inner health than my outer appearance...I mean I might spend a fortune looking far younger, only to find out I'm seriously ill: good health is absolutely priceless. A youthful appearance far less precious in my view.

yes, it's the most important reason that people underdgo this surgery.we all worried about aging, especially for female, as time goes by , they are no longer beatiful, with wrinkles on their face and loose skin, most of us cannot bear this, so , from this part, plastic surgery do make them happy.

I think if a person is going to be in the public eye and wants to look their best then plastic surgery may be an option. I also think this is very serious business and should be done without serious thought. And it is easy for such things to become a habit and can turn into an addiction. I have seen several woman on tv that have either had so much done they look grotesque or they have had botched jobs and look horrible. So there are alot of things to take into acount before having any procedures done.

each and everyone of us wants to be perfectly beautiful, some even though they are already naturally beautiful still are not contented and would like to have plastic surgery. i can see this one actress, she is already naturally beautiful but i can notice that she has altered her lips and make it appear like angelina jolie's lips and now i look at her beauty was affected and not anymore that beautiful because we can see the difference of alteration. also once plastic surgery is done, one can never be contented and will continue to strive to be even more perfect.

yes, it's the one part of human's greed, they always feel things are not perfect, and they persue perfect but they don't know perfect never exists, i think if you wanna be beautiful through plastic surgery ,it's sometimes ok,but if you wanna be more beautiful or even stunning, that's a little extreme.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it per say but I do find it a little silly when I hear about women and men alike spending so much money on having their faces altered. I guess if they have the money and are rich anyway they can but people who need to save for years to do it really shouldn't in my opinion. They save up for so long only to spend all that money on something that might even go wrong or not the way they wanted. I think people should just be happy with the way they look but on the other hand we do live in a world that judges others by how they look, so such behaviour doesn't surprise me.

so , it's depend on how much money they can make, if they can afford the cost, it's their freedom to decide to have the surgery, and, i agree with you that, for people who need to save money in order to make them beautiful , there is no need. however, if they think it will make them happy throuh undergoing a plastic surgery, that's ok.

I don't think there's anyone out there that's ugly enough to get surgery, they should leave that to the arrogant celebrities who would only learn from their life mistakes, because when you have a lot of money you don't mess up much. I remember that woman on T.V who had eye lid surgery and now she can't freaking blink! her eyes are wide open and she is in pain.

i agree with surgeries but i wouldnt do one. unless i had an accident or something. but if someone feels like killing herself bcs hates their image then i think maybe she should. if thats so important for her then she should. you know we live life and its so short that we should do what makes us happy. i know it seems to us that is nothing but i understand people that want to make surgeries. not for vanity but because they feel ugly and the surgery might give them confidence.

Hi, I do not like plastics personally, for one they tend to pollute the environment, how much more if they find their way to my body. Just like silicon implants, they give undesirable effects to the surrounding tissues in the long run. Cosmetic surgery is more desirable, albeit more expensive. Skilled surgeons, like ancient sculptors, do some incisions to the bones and tissues of the body parts concerned to form them to the desired dimensions without adding implants or plastics; snipping here, adding a tissue there to make that flat nose a little bit longer or that drooping eyelid more in line with the eyebrows, sawing off that protruding jawbone to make the face more symmetrical, things like that. I should try one for myself to make my monkey-face look like Tom Cruise if I had the money someday.

well plastic surgery is good for any distraction in face due to any accident like burning or another but it is not good in normal cases if u do because it does not gives you a confident feel.so plastic surgery is not a good option . you can read more about how to make your skin beautiful http://adf.ly/Czhfn

If it cost beyond my means, I will not go for it. If it is necessary medically, for me to have a comfortable life , free from the pain because of those defects, if any, I would be glad to have it done as soon as possible. But with cosmetic reasons, I would defer that and spend my hard earned money to something more worthwhile. Thanks

In my opinion there is nothing wrong about plastic surgery. But we must always remember that physical beauty is not a permanent thing and should not be the basis of being beautiful. I think what matters more is the beauty from within. We must love and appreciate ourselves so that people around us can see who we are and appreciate us as a person. If we are contented of what we have and we believe that we are beautiful, it helps in boosting our ego and improve our personality. For me beauty is not only good looks but intelligence and personality also.

that's so ture,i totally agree with your point. beauty is not only about outside but also about inside, many of us pay so much attention on one's face and ignore one's inner beauty.however, how can a person know if you have a beatiful mind at the first sight, so, to be realistic , that's why more and more people wanna to be beautiful.

Interesting discussion, well in my opinion. People are persuaded to have to undergo plastic surgery mainly because they are bounded with what the industry is telling us. Media in particular, creates an ideal image of beauty that people wants to conform. For celebrities, yes plastic surgery can be a strategy to land them big projects that would eventually turn their careers high, but for average people. I don't think it is necessary to undergo plastic surgery. Given this qoute, "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" You yourself own beauty and you have the power to define it in your will without putting an ideal to it.

I personally believe that it is perfectly ok to get plastic surgery, unless you are doing it for the wrong reasons. I see no problem is saving your hard earned money to make some improvements in yourself. But if you are a very insecure person, and do not like or accept yourself, and feel you need to get plastic surgery to feel better about yourself or to get acceptance from someone else, then you have some personal issues that need worked through, not plastic surgery. I personally don't see myself ever getting plastic surgery, although I have thought about it a few times. But I love and accept myself regardless of whether or not I get plastic surgery.

I think it is not bad when you have something fixed you don't like about yourself if you don't abuse running to the plastic surgeon all the time to fix this and that. Some people have had many surgeries and will never be satisfied with their appearance. We have all seen pictures of the cat woman and the drastic and shocking change to her face. When I was in my 30s I had my nose chiselled as I had hated the bump on it for years. It made me look better and I felt happy about my appearance.

the answer to this question is that it all depends on your values. If you value outward appearances then the prospect of losing your looks is frightening, even more so if you earn your living by looking beautiful. If you believe that beauty is only skin deep then you have a more balanced attitude because although you lose your looks with time, neverthess if you have also given care and attention to the kind of person you are, your character, then that will have grown more beautiful over the years. Growing old is not a process we can halt, we can only slow it down with medical procedures, better to be realistic and grow old gracefully.

Personally in most cases I'll never understand why people do it for cosmetic reasons, it just seems vain to me. Surgery is very expensive and should be thought out very carefully. People often try to overlook the health risks.

actually plastic surgery is both desirable and undesirable.but in the plastic surgery someone can get a more beautiful as well as in some accidents plastic surgery is helped to get well the people to previous. I think after plastic surgery there will be a new skin. present skin may be some cases such as sun shine

Plastic surgery is a very easy way to become beautiful, if it is done correctly. Yes, it costs a lot. There's no fault in saving money for a plastic surgery. But the problem comes here is that "Were every plastic surgery done in the past were successful?" My immediate answer is "No". Even celebrities have messed up in their surgeries and they look not so beautiful as they were before the surgery. So, if you are using a huge amount of money for a plastic surgery, make sure that u don't let it to be a mistake.
