My last trip from Hong Kong in 2007, I bought a Barney stuff toy. I can't remember from what toy store. I guess, I was just amazed that my youngest brother kept it, as a gift. There is no way, I can put it in my luggage. So I just carry it along with me on board to a plane, going back to Philippines. During that trip. I am with my sister, she was just laughing. She can't imagine how I will carry the toy. It is worth it, my youngest brother loved and treasured the toy. Now, the stuff toy was passed on to my niece. She can't sleep, if Barney is out of sight.

Hello there Shavkat. Wow, I think you are so thoughtful. It was good you were able to buy that Barney stuffed toy when you went to Hong Kong. Even though you were able to carry it with you and other people might have seen you that time, it was just okay with you. Even though your sister was also laughing, you also didn't mind about it. At least, that toy was able to make your youngest brother so happy when you went back home. I think it's really an ideal present to give to young kids especially when they really love watching Barney. They would really love to play with it and even sleep with it at night. Maybe, your brother already grew bigger so he just passed the toy to your niece. At least, someone is still continuing to appreciate the toy you were able to buy.
I could also remember the time when my sister asked me to buy a big Barney toy in one of the department stores in our city. It was really big that it could fit the different sizes of plastic bags they had in that store. So, I really didn't have a choice but to carry it with me. I think a lot of people really looked at me while holding that Barney stuffed toy. I just didn't mind them and I continued walking. I even hugged it because I was really happy to bring it home for my nephew. When I went home, my nephew was really amazed because Barney was his favorite character that time. He watched him daily on TV. So, when he watched Barney on TV that time, he really smiled and hugged his stuffed toy. He kept on playing with it. It was also beside him while he was sleeping before. I think he really enjoyed having that toy. Though now, he's already a big boy so I could only see the big Barney toy in his closet. I wanted to show it again to him next time and I would tell him the story on how I bought his beloved toy before. Have a happy Friday and happy myLotting to you. :)

There is a big value with those kind of gifts that we give to people.
There is a story from the holocaust about a girl that was forced to leave her mother and she always had a teddy bear she just couldn't throw away. That teddy bear was from her mother. One day, the girl met an old woman randomly, that woman saw the teddy bear, took a knife and cut the teddy bear and took out a paper out of it. That paper had some writings on it and apparently, that woman was the mother. No wonder people can get attached to a puppet so much. The puppet can remind them the love of a family member, the memory of a family member.

Awww. How sweet of you!! Bringing this Stuff Toy out from Luggage. I understand that this can't fit on the bag. But you find a way to have it with you until you arrive here in Philippine. I really appreciate your effort if I was your cousin.

It is great that the toy that you brought home for your brother was something that he treasured and I think that it is even neater that he has been passed on to your niece and that she can't sleep if Barney isn't in her sight.
You know, I'm an adult now, but I do have a stuffed animal that I still keep on my bed every night. You see, Lila (a stuffed lamb) was the last Easter present that I ever got from my father and she has helped me through a lot of tough times in my life.

I believe most little kids like that kind of toy. My daughter liked that when she was a baby, I bought her many barney stuffs. Sometimes when she played them , she talked to them, like they were alive, they are her best friends. These toys are meaningful for her, anyone was not allowed to take them away.
