Don't you gain weight even after eating a lot?

hmm, mostly my friends and families told me that i still don't gain any weight even if i eat a lot of foods o

I weigh 100 pounds, but I always eat a lot. I think weight does not have a direct connection with how much food we ate. Although I do not think I am fat, I am the heavist one among my roommate. As I observed, all my roommates ate more than other girls. It geniunely is a strange phenomenon.

I do not know whether it is a good news or not for you to lose weight. Personnally, if a person is too thin, he/she will not be healthy because that person is not in a good shape. Of course, it is an advantage for you comparing with other girls, for you can eat more without concern for weight gaining.O(n_n)O~

I actually did exercise before but i stopped since I lose my weight :( so now i am just eating and eating and eating a lot :)

I too am like that before, i even weigh more than my guy cousin in the family. but now, i lose weight. and im not sure how much i weigh now..

If only I can give you a part of my cheeks. Haha! I have lots of it and fats too. I wish to lose some weight, I like being chubby but I think I am going beyond that word. Huhuhu.. I have slow metabolism and suffer from hypothyroidism. Have your TSH checked, it might be lower than the range. Low tsh means fast metabolism and they can advice meds for you. Or if you'd like to, try eating fast and don't stop until you're full. =)

Just make sure to eat healthy foods and not overdo it that much. Because in time, it will somehow affect your body. Good luck!

Yes! Will do that friend. Thanks. And yeah, mostly when we are still young even if we eat a lot of foods it will not give a lot of effect in our body compared to when we are getting older. That's the time our illness/ anything will com out :)

That's what i do too. I eat fast, they even told me it seems like i haven't eaten for days already :D LOL~ But i am still the same.. Maybe i should give time for this eating a lot "therapy" for a few more weeks you think? Maybe it will take effect.

It probably is your metabolism. As you get older it'll slow down and you'll start to gain weight. To gain weight now you'd have to eat a lot of food a day, and not necessarily all junk food. But, if you eat like that you'll probably end up gaining weight in other areas besides just your cheeks.

To gain fatty weight you'd probably have to eat a lot of sugars and fats. I know to gain muscle weight you just eat a lot of protein and even fatty foods. But for just fat I guess just eat a lot of sweets and see what happens

hmm yeah that's what im thinking as well. Do you know any food that gives fats to the cheeks? or other parts as long as cheeks is part of it? :D Thank you for the suggestion by the way :)

I have a friend who used to eat whole day but was very thin. Yes it is the metabolic rate in the body that is the result of it. My neighbor is another one like you who wants to gain some weight because she is very skinny. I am fat and I want to lose some weight lol. I have no idea how to gain weight because though you are eating, still you are not increasing. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Oh maybe you can try ..hey must try eating lot of rice and potato chips. Eat lot of starchy food and go to sleep. I think that should work in my opinion.

hey friend, eat 12 banana everyday you will gain weight within 1 week and your face will become round like lolly- polly and eat high protein diet like eeg, sprouts and take some protein powder. If you not gain weight by eating 12 banana than give me a tight slap on my face u are free to do so..

I don't gain weight no matter how much I eat. x_x my arms still remain thin... Although sometimes my cheeks would puff up, but it goes away after some time too. Sometimes being this thin gets frustrating because I want a change of look, I get how you feel about it. I hope we can find a way on how to eat and actually gain and maintain our weight at our desired look. :D

Oh my~ good for you your cheeks would puff up. Mine doesn't :( Well, the only thing that gained fats in my body is my tummy (T^T) waa~ really hope so we could find ways on this.

I am also like that when i was in my teens. No amount of vitamins and appetite stimulant could make me eat so much, that i would gain weight. Though, when i gave birth to our daughter, it seems my appetite for everything was stirred. Most of all, i already like eating veggies. Can't eat a viand without veggie to pair for it. Now, i am a bit worried of my gaining weight. Well, when one gets older the metabolism slows down, so that explains for it. Maybe you should consult a doctor on what should you do to gain weight, my friend.

Hi powerfuff! I hope I can do that, eating a lot of foods yet maintaining the figure. Well, I remember when I was younger I also eat a lot but it has no effect on my weight. But now as I grow old, jut a little, he he. I have to control my food intake if not I will have a lot of problems ahead.

I gain weight when I eat a lot but burn it right away because I play basketball almost everyday. I love being an athlete so when I have time to play, I play and exercise so that keeps me fit.

I don't think there are any foods that can just give you chubby cheeks without affecting the rest of your body. One thing that I will say that goes with a lot of other people's responses is that you will probably start to gain weight the older you get. With age the metabolism tends to eventually slow down and it is harder to loose weight. Also if you are pretty young your face with change over the years naturally. I know I look different from when I was in high school 8 years ago and that goes for a lot of people I know. Enjoy how things are now because change always comes.

You are absolutely right there! hmm I am trying to gain weight as well if there are no particular foods that gives me a chubbier cheeks. and of course after gaining the exact weight, i'll maintain my balance diet then :)

well, you should thank God for such a good digestion system. There are people like me who think twice before eating anything. I eat very little but have no habit of exercise :( it put me in a very ugly physique. you should be happy that you can eat anything without bothering about obesity. And obesity is nothing more than a disease, you can read a lot of literature on internet about this..

Yes. I have heard of it. I have also some friends who experienced that illness. But I haven't asked them about loosing weight or gaining or anything. I don't want to let them feel hurt whenever i talk about foods. Btw, I just want my cheeks to get chubby and a little amount of good fats in my body :)

I wish I did experience this, lol! Consider yourself lucky everything that I eat turns to fat. I wish I could eat a lot and not put on weight. I think that it is sometimes the kind of foods you eat. Your ability to remain thin may have something to do with an over active thyroid gland. Although I think that if you eat more sugar you might find that you put on weight. If you are doing a lot of exercise you will work it off. However, if you reduce your exercise, then you will get unfit. It's difficult. If I were you I'd be going to a doctor and seeing if there is anything wrong. You may need blood tests. I have an underactive thyroid gland and have to take thyroxine to help.

Well, this is really my problem. I eat a lot but don't get fat all over my body, mostly just in my tummy :( But still it's not that big, just some small fats. I want the fat to go on my cheeks to make it more chubbier.

I dont gain weight very east and I eat like a pig most time , they always say they dont know where I put it . When I was going to high school I wanted to gain a little weight because I wanted a more full looking body but thats not in the cards for me right now . Some slim people have round face and maybe you just have straight face . A lot of fat on your face is not very attractive but having a more fuller face is ok . I am not sure what you can do to get that without putting on weight on your entire body . I think its more genetics than the food because I eat almost every food except for the disgusting ones like snake , monkey you get my point . Maybe you can try eating a lot more salty food and oily food .

Yes i have tried eating those things too but my face just don't get round :( Well, i have a little chubby face before during highschool days and later in my college life, i lose weight but still looks a little chubby on the face that doesn't obvious my cheekbone to my jaw line. But now after college, I tried to do exercise to fit in my body but what happened is that I lose weight and was happy for it but my face turns to have no chubby looks anymore (T^T)

When I was younger I could eat anything i wanted and as much of a food as I wanted and it did nothing to alter ny weight. Now that I am older things have certainly changed. I have to watch eating certain foods because the weight seems to fly on. Sometimes i wish for those younger days again.

That's what everyone says too.. getting old will slower your metabolism and gain you more weight if you'll eat more. But there are other people who are still thin and skinny even they get older. hmmm..

don't wish away your thinness i used to be fit, active and very sporty and thought i would never gain weight. but then i met my wife when i was 37 and the weight piled on! I am now 48 and i recently met up with my good friend who imigrated to Australia 20 years ago and he looks as thin and fit as he did when he was 18! Enjoy your metabolism while you can, nature will catch up eventually! lol!

(O.o)Wow~ how lucky he is to still have the same build as when he was younger. Yes, I didn't want to go super fat and chubby as well, i just want my cheeks to go chubby It is still thin. But my friends told me i look a little chubby in pictures. I hope i could get that the same image in the picture and reality (*u*)

Usually people who eat a lot and don't gain much weight have a high metabolism. You might try eating multiple times a day, and increase your calorie intake. If you take in more calories than you burn, your body will store the unburned calories as fat, which might in turn help you to obtain your goal of having chubby cheeks. Good luck!
