"Why boys should have all the fun" this is the tagline of lady scooty bike aired n our part of the world. It sounded as if the society is biased towards the guys. Do you think en get more preference in our society today than women. do share your views.

If boys have fun , then woman hae fun too only we differ with activities, but if woman want to do what men are enjoying then do so... We. An do what they are doing, but they can't do what we have.... Like enjoying having fun in daring a baby.. They can't be a mother. Lol... Have fun always...

I am a male and I admit with shame that we are living in a male dominated society no matter which country we belong to.Boys are allowed more freedom than girls to do anything they like.It is as if it is taken for granted that since they are boys, they have every right to do whatever they like to do.If a girl is raped, the boy may be chargesheeted and even jailed, but the story ends there. On the other hand, the girl's life gets spoiled.Society blames her.She is deemed to be characterless.Although it is unjustified and indefensible, but this is unfortunately the ground reality that is so bitter.Girls are always at the receiving end.

I think that they have different kinds of fun maybe, but we can all have lots of fun if we want to. AS for asking about preference in our society, I donĀ“t ask myself that question because that would establish a difference that I will not have. I think we are all equal and deserve respect. And each of us should do everything in his/her power to get that respect.

in some situations they still treat girls as different than guys. its unfair. i saw in news that in a factory boys and girls were doing the same job. but guys received an higher salary. how unfair is this? even guys that worked there thought it was unfair that their girls colleagues were receiving less than them. but it was the company's policy. idiot right?

Well I believe that men and women should be equal, if men can have fun and so are women so I don't think theres nothing wrong with man having all the fun.

I think, it is not. Women can do, what men can do. But in some countries, they are not open to gender equality.

It depends on your opinion. There are girls who have more fun than other guys out there too. The statement assumes that guys have fun more than girls when it actually depends on a lot of things. Like, take the word "fun". Everyone has different meaning for the word so everything we do actually depends on what meaning we give the word. It should also depend on a person's lifestyle, etc.. I'm sure only a bunch of people came up with the statement that you posted and a lot would disagree with it.

Because we live in a men's world and what is normal to men is still forbidden for women. No matter how modern we all claim to be. Most worst is that even women spit on their own kind are not loyal and are raised in that old fashioned way men want us to be (well not for really since most fun seems to be with the kind of woman they say they would never be married with).

I think it depends on how a person views themselves as opposed to the way the world views them. That being said, there are certain advantages that women get because they are female, and there are advantages that men get because they are male. The bottom line however, is that it is up to each individual to create the life that they want, whether male or female, and if they want something, don't take no for an answer, always keep striving for that goal.

hey thanks a ton for the lovely discussion. i think the tagline is in fact good for the woman community as it says that girls can have fun and enjoy equally as boys in the society and they should have no such limitations and restrictions. Yeah of course, our society has always been biased against the women community although we often forget that without our mothers we would never have been born and she is a woman also and we should respect this aspect. i think the taglines should me made creative and funny rather than pointing out at the genders indirectly. What say?

I always compare my life with my twin brother's. Inevitable I suppose. He had a new bike, he had a paper round job which gave him some cash. He was guided into a career by my parents, whereas I was told it wasn't necessary as I would get married. Did he have more fun? Perhaps not but more opportunities and more expectations than I did. I would have liked the bike but not the paper round that paid for it. I would have liked to have been encouraged to have a career, but I did stay on at school longer than he did because he had to do an apprenticeship. I guess I had more fun then. It depends on the circumstances - boys have to do military training in lots of countries, that's not fun. They have to go to war if necessary. That's not fun. They have to work and support a family all their lives. It is up to us individually whether we find time for fun, we are responsible for what we make of our lives so maybe in the long run we get what we aim for, both girls and boys.
