A toy bang! Bang!, is fine?

For the concerned citizen of the world, do we need to be responsible of what kind of toys to purchaise from shops? Practically speaking, we need to be vigilant not to buy toys like, squirt guns. I'm not insinuating the possibilities of violence. There are some parents would say that it is fine, since having a cowboy customes with boots and toy guns, it looks cute for kids wearing it. What can you say about this?

Children love dressing up and playing cowboys and indians...that was an old game of years past. Anyway, games and props like that don't bring about violence. Video games and TV show more than any child could imagine on their own.
What you should be more concerned with are items that are made in China. It seems that there is a recall daily for toys that are being pulled off the market because they are a danger to children in more ways than imaginable. Some causing severe lacerations and others chocking or suffocation...those are things we need to be more concerned about.

Hello my friend Shavkat Ji,
Well, I think it gives birth to Voilance and needs to be restricted. My hubby was a soldier and during his young age of service, in those days he was offered english revolver for just Rs. 16/- (1959) INR, he never opetd to have one in the home and till today we do not go for such toys, who may create Apositive sense in children.

I could not even bother to read other people's responses because I know I Am not interested in them! what I have to say is when we were children we used to play cowboys and indiands [mind you were girls] and is was just a game we never had any hate for one or other it was just kiddos play! I Am sorry today is not so...terrorist made sure of that!

Yes it is more beautiful if they are given educational toys , books than those toys that can condition their minds into something negative.
