Breaking News: Sillentwill-Mylot Member- Suffered From An Accident

Thanks rberon1985 and everyone for the well-wishes. I'm afraid I hadn't been very active lately which is why I only knew a few from here like mysd. It actually happened two months ago, it was a stormy night and the walkway from the mall to our office was wet and slippery. I slipped, used my left arm to break the fall but broke 2 bones on my forearm. I underwent surgery and now have two 3-inch metals attached to my bones. I've been on rest since then and will be for 3 months, so I don't get back to work until next month. As much as I would've liked to join the meet up I'm afraid I can't. On a positive note, my arm is gradually improving and while it'll probably never be as good as before I can at least use it now to do small stuff like eating, typing in the computer, anything not requiring to lift heavy objects. It's sad that I'm unable to carry our 2-week old baby because of that, but I still feel blessed thinking it could've been worse, it could've been my back or my head that hit the floor had I not used my arm. And I just look at not being able to work to be an opportunity to have an extended time to spend with my boy. Most dads only get a week of paternity leave in the Philippines, I believe and I'm getting a month. Plus now I bave time to check mylot. Still looking at the bright side despite this unfortunate event and difficulty I'm in. Again thanks everyone for your concerns. And have fun to those joining the meet up.

He was here a few days back and I left him a comment as it was a long, long time since Ilast saw him here. I am sorry to hear thathe has had a fall and I hope he will soon rcover, Hopefullt his arm injury will still allow him to type and he can spend three months here with us No, as of yet I have not bumped into anyone accidentally, or otherwise, from mylot and that was really curious that you are both working in the same place!

I haven't meet "silentwell" here in mylot (not a chance) Is he active or a new member? Kindly convey my regards and wish he get well soon.

Hello rberon, It's getting weirder, looks like to me that some one's trying to stop us from gathering in this event. first, me almost loosing my debit card but now him slipping to some mall out there?? I hope nothing happens to others who have already contributed and confirm attendance to this event. wow! looks like were talking to a REAL veteran here of six years! yeah i kinda remember him lolz

I might have come across him here but I really can't remember him. Well, anyway, please send our regards to him if he still answers your call or text message. And do let him know that we wish he will get better soon. I haven't experienced what you have experienced, that must have been a nice feeling knowing how small this world can be.

Hi rberon,I am sorry about his fall,I hope he is going to be alright.I do genealogy as a hobby and I have found many coincidences where it turns out I am related to someone that I knew in school.I even found out that my ex is my 5th cousin. That means our son is also my 6th cousin.

Never experience similar to what you have. In your case it's normal to be shock or amaze because the person you want to meet was one of your company mate and also a member of myLot. Can't remember his username leave a comment on my post.

hi rberon I don't believe I know SilentWill but I hope his broken arms will heal fast.I m sorry about him not getting to the second convention hope a lot more will come Saturday.

What a small world we live in! That is amazing! This has never happen to me that I would meet someone working in the same field in the same company. I hope that silentwill is feeling better real soon.

I think still I not saw any discussion of sillentwill. This is active member or not. Ohhh God for 3 months leave means not better health. How accident is occurred. Ohhh God you meet accidentally or accident is happened I not understand your discussion.

Hi Rberon, I think I haven't encountered Silentwill in here...maybe due to my long absence. But I am hopeful that he will be OK. And hopefully he can post some good news about his recovery for all of us to feel better. We couldn't really get away from accidents. Anyways, I haven't experienced that kind of coincidence. I think you two are destined to meet up and be friends in actual life. Happy Mylotting!

I am not sure if I've come across this member yet or not. I am sorry to hear of his injury and hate that he has to be on leave from work. I do hope that he can spend more time here with us though so we can get to know him better. It's curious that you two work in the same company, even on the same floor. Maybe when he gets back from his leave, you two can lunch together sometimes?

rberon sorry to hear one of our members has suffered fracture. he is advised rest for 3 months. very sad. i have not met this member in mylot during the last three months i am active here. I have not had any opportunity to meet a colleague --because i am retired. I am only imagining i will meet a member of mylot suddenly in a railway station or airport and recognise him by the photo. possible /not possible/impossible/partly possible/cannot say.-- what is your estimation?

What a nice coincidence! Out of all the companies and offices in Makati City, you both belong to the same one... I can't think of any similar scenario for me. The closest was probably when I found out a former colleague whom I just met then was married to one of my ex. Speedy recovery to Silentwill!

Hahaha that scene made me smile and say that really the world is so small . One day will bump with each other in unexpected place. See because of that incident happened to silent will it yields to an information that your working in one company. How many times maybe both of you bumped or ate in same table in your company , maybe couple of times . See how amazing and beautiful is life , i want to conclude that each and everyone is related to each other.
