Hate to be disturb while doing Mylot

I know what you mean. I always check myLot first thing in the morning. It is the first site I always go to because I have it as my home page. Then I will work on it through the morning for a couple hours alone before starting some other sites along with it. I don't close myLot very often, I think it is my background instead of my picture of my desktop.

As you can see just from responses here, you are certainly not alone... Many are addicts here; from those who have only been here for few months, a year, or even many years...

hi tinetine welcome to the club mylot addicts, but its a good addiction so there.I also do not like m y roomie jabbering at me when I am tryng to write a decent response. I just say yah yah and go ahead with what I am doing.I do not like being disturbed and having to reword something as I made a goof due to her disturbing me over and over.

Yes its a sign of addiction , but it can also be dedication because even though you are socializing you are earning so it can be that you are taking it serious as a normal job . I am not really able to do mylot during the day but when I get home I like to do my thing without being disturb .

Many many times when I come here and I am sure there are many of us here who can relate. Yes, this is a sign of addiction which I feel is a good addiction. Continue to enjoy this site.

I hate it when people try to talk to me when they are well aware that I am trying to get some work done. When I am writing, whether that means on here or on elsewhere, I need to be somewhere quiet where I am able to concentrate. I always ask people if they can leave me alone while I am working because that means that I will be able to finish the work a lot faster and will therefore be able to talk to them properly sooner. I have to work for around eight hours undisturbed each day, and the quicker that I am able to get those hours done, the better.

Absolutely But don't worry you are not alone. Besides, mylotting is much better than wasting your time using the net without earning a little

Hi, I also feel the same but I don't think it is some kind of addiction. I do not want to be disturbed because I might forget what's on my mind (ideas/opinions) and would lose the chance to post a good response. I also feel like I am losing the momentum if I have to stop for a while. I also find it hard to post good discussion and response if it is noisy. English is not my mother tongue so there are times that if someone would talk to me, I forgot some words and losing my concentration in general. I think that those are the reasons or am I just on denial stage? LOL

Well, I personally don't like being disturb when I'm doing anything online, and that includes Mylot as well. I've yet to reach the level of dedication to where it's the first thing I want to do in the morning. I wouldn't call your love of Mylot an addiction, I just see it as something that you really enjoy, and I don't see anything wrong with that.

I always go to Mylot whenever I can, the first thing I check in the morning is my email to see if I get notifications when friends started new discussion or when the discussion starter has comment back on my response so I can continute the discussion with the discussion starter. Then I will browse on mylot to find more discussions. I can check email and mylot from my cellphone, so it is easier for me to keep in touch with mylot because I can do it anytime anywhere I want. I can do multitasking so I dont easily feel that Im being disturbed when my mylotting time is being interupted. I think yes you've become addicted to mylot, but dont forget your offline activities too.

Hi there Tinetine, It's actually different in my focus. I won't really mind if one of my family members would peek on me from outside or would even ask me something while I am mylotting. I think that would help me to just bring me outside the box from too much pre-occupying myself from mylot. I've been addicted before and now that I am quite not that active, I am valuing more on the reality things...which is my job and my family. Addiction is no good. Happy Mylotting!

I think you are not addicted, you are just "so into" I have been on your case before but it went away with time and because I was busy offline. I do hope that even if it passes, you will still be here as much as possible and you won't leave us guessing why we are not seeing more of you here. Have a good one!
