i think it is better to wait for better time.. and wait .. if there is any emergency then we have to do our best to go home but not that we put our life on dangeour for it..

I do not think I can swim in dirty flood. I will feel disguising to swim in dirty flood and I will wait ill the flood came down if I could. I'm good at swiming but I always swim in clean water, I do not like to do anything is bad for me or make me really feel bad. When I feel not good, I am not a good swimer, It's dangerous.

I have never experienced swimming in dirty flood because we don't usually have it as we live inland, but there were a few years when I was small, the river in my hometown got flooded to the street and many houses got flooded as well. I remember the water in our house was as high as that of the legs of an adult. It was terrible to have flood. Gladly, there have no more big floods in my hometown like that ever since.

If swimming in a dirty flood is the only way to get home, definitely I would do it. But the problem is, I don't know how to swim I have actually tried walking in a dirty flood few times before.

I think it depends on the circumstance. If there's no choice like if the water is really getting higher and higher and you'd drown if you don't act fast, then I probably would.
However, if it's mere panic that there's a typhoon and that the water is getting higher but obviously it would eventually recede, then I would wait. I think there are far more complications after swimming in flood than being late to get home because of the flood.
I could remember a friend of mine a couple of months ago. The rain was really falling too hard and they were playing badminton and were going to their car to go home. But the flood was almost waist high. She told me that they waded through the water to get to the car and was now worried about diseases because she was worried about bacteria entering her private part. I told her that they should have just waited on it since there was no warning on evacuation and the area was known for floods (but would eventually recede). Perhaps they just panicked. I'm just glad and she was relieved when after the check-up she's fine. Guess some people are just not lucky.
Have a great mylot experience ahead!

I don't think I can. I will just have to wait for the flood to come down until I could be able to cross. Flood is too dirty and we could get a lot of health problems if we get to drink even a small part of it or if we have open wounds. It's not safe to swim in the flood as well because there are too many debris in it that may it.

You can't wait till the flood recedes.Your home is calling you, and,as you know, the call of sweet home is irresistible. The flood water is dirty, but it can never be dirty enough to make you reluctant to jump into it and swim your way to home.
But the question is not for people like me who don't know how to swim.Had I have learned the skill,I wouldn't have hesitated to jump into the dirty flood waters and get home asap.

i have never experienced such situation, but if i meet such situations, i will feel bad to swim in dirty flood. but i think he people who want to go home and don't have any choice are sure to choose to swim in such flood. you know, if people face a very big trouble and have no choice, they always can do things they don't want to do before.
