You sound like you are doing great as a newcomer and I just suggest you read the guidelines and the FAQs as in the guidelines you get a guide on how to make discussions and what not to do in discussions,. learn those two and yo u will have easy sailing making discussions. also always comment back on responses you get on your discussions as thats a good money maker for sure. have fun make friends and enjoy being here as we all try to help each other and are friendly to all. welcome to mylot

Hi, I am also a newbie and I join this just because I saw this from someones facebook. I don't know how to start and right now all I know is reply discussion only. I wish to start a new discussion like this but I cannot find a way. So can anyone help me and teach me? I need a lecturer to teach me for using myLot. First question how to I start a new discussion? Then normally what should I do in here?? I feel so lost because I don't know at all about this. Feel like want to cry. Can anyone guide me to start? I don't even have friends who are using this so can anyone add me as friends too? By the way, can I add friends in myLot? Feel like so much question I wish to know but don't know how to start...Really I need help!!!

Participation is the key. Follow the rules and participate when you can; and you are on your way. For the most part, that is how you earn. The more you participate, the more you earn. I would recommend that you just take those things that you would say to acquaintances and make them something to discuss. I don't get too personal, and I try to talk about things that a lot of people can relate to. Not everyone has English as their native language. So, sometimes you have to understand that not everyone will understand, but helping with however you are able to communicate is a good idea.

Read the guidelines, follow the rules, if you post a discussion, respond back to the people who reply and try to be original. You can search on a topic to see if it's been covered before. Personally I find that posting about what I know (mostly my life) works best for me. Good luck and welcome.

I can see that you are already doing good even just for a first discussion. If you start a new discussion you should comment back on those who responded because that is one of the ways you could earn. As many would say, You type, you earn, I type, I earn. You won't be credited for all those who responded on you if you don't comment back. But, the comment should have a body and not purely Thank yous! Also, using the search tab will earn you points. The task will also help and responding to topics of your interest will also add to your earnings. So, keep it up and good luck! Welcome to Mylot!
