I was searching for topics to reply today then I found one with a tricky title that even made me panicked (a bit)..
Then I found one responder that I should say obviously not have read the whole message of the starter or maybe because of panic have not comprehended well the real humor..well this is not my first time to have seen responses a lil irrelevant from the exact purpose of the discussion. one reason I see here is that sometimes we only read the title and not reading the whole details.
Do you reply and really giving real time to read the whole conversation before answering or just rely on the topic's title in putting your output? Do you give time reading on long sentences of the topic starter or just prefer those discussion with short paragraphs?
For me if the topic or title really gets my attention I would be very much willing to read the whole story just for me to comprehend it well and give my reply.

hi ally I have got some really wild responses frpm, people too lazy to read my discussions., I myself do read all the discussions as titles are meant to lead you in but may not be of much
help.If I am interested it can be long or short as I will read
all of it. I want my response to be intelligent and right on
the mark and be helpful tpo.

Hi hatley! How are you today? Yes some or more Myloters are using a not-actually- misleading post title. I myself did it sometimes, I just thought if you put some catchy title it can drew more responders and I think to start some humor ..
But of course an intelligent reply gets the highest respect..

When I respond to a discussion I always make sure that I truly understand what the Discussion is about,I think it is rude to take part in a discussion that you Know nothing about. So when I take part in a discussion I read the whole of the description of the discussion written buy the starter.Though I don't always read the whole discussion especially if it is a very popular discussion but I usually read a few posts to see how others have responded to the discussion.Though if it is a discussion with only a few posts I will probably read them all.

Hi anklesmash, yes its always a wise thing to read the whole details posted by the topic starter for us also to see all possible points we can contribute on the topic. I also read some first few responses before posting, it do helps too to broaden our thoughts from other points we just missed.

I did once. I responded a discussion which I based only on the title. I was lazy reading the whole story because it was very long. When I re-read after I realize what the post all about, I laugh myself.
Sometimes, we are busy attending other stuff and you aim to post more every day so instead of reading the whole discussion you only post your response based on the title which is not right.

Yes we sometimes get so lazy or maybe excited that after reading the interesting title we hurriedly proceed in giving our reply tho we have not yet scroll down the whole topic.
Maybe we should be careful next time and at least give enough time to read than to give a reply that wont earn us even a single penny.

I try to read the whole discussion even if it's too long. Sometimes, long discussions makes me wonder what the real points are that is why I prefer not to answer it than responding without having any sense at all. In all my started discussions, I always receive response/s that are off topic. Obviously they aren't reading the whole discussion even if I only write it too short. There are just many members that are too lazy to read the whole thing and are only after the points they will be receiving for that response, not helping at all!

Most the times I read full discussions but if discussions is long and I understand the meaning of discussions in two to three lines then I respond on it. Sometime I not understand the meaning of discussion but wants to respond on it then I ask the discussion starter please explain me or say to any responder explain me what is in discussion.

I always read the whole message as well as all comments. Unless there's more than 2 pages. But how can you respond to a discussion without reading the whole topic? The title is just kind of to pull you in. I've seen some really strange titles that sometimes don't really have much or even anything to do with the topic, but they work because they get you to read it and usually it's an interesting discussion point, sometimes as interesting as the (very misleading) title.

Hi deazil, I think those guilty ones also read the whole topic, but the problem they read the Title and then skip to the bottom of the whole content
But for myself the more catchy the title the more I become curious, I read the whole content coz I really want to know the whole details, why like this why like that why it happened, who, when where. I dont know maybe Im just so snoopy

Titles are one of the first thing that catch our attention here. They sometimes decide for me if I want to open the topic or simply continue to next one. But titles alone are never enough for me to reply. Before I decide to response to any topic, I'd at least have read the whole story. Plus I'd read all responses and comments that are already given. And if I'm not familiar with the starter, I'd even check his/her profile to give me some ideas who I am about to respond to. Yes, I'd also like to understand the topic well before I even decide if I have anything to add as a response or comment at all.

I'm willing to read the whole thing. I will read the title and see if it is something that I might be interested in, then I will read all the info. If I have a lot of time to myLot, then I don't mind long sentences, but if I only have a few minutes to get on the computer and do some myLotting, then I tend to look for things with short paragraphs.
Sometimes I might have to read the discussion a couple of times before I really understand what the person is saying.

I usually pick discussions with short details and were presented direct to the point. Discussion with long paragraphs causes my brain cells to overwork and crashes down my comprehension..
Tho if I find the topic so interesting and I cant afford not to reply, I would read the whole story multiple times until I understand its whole sense.
