I have been wanting to share a story with you all. I have read it somewhere I can't actually remember. Some of you must have heard it before, maybe.
There was this guy who died and went to heaven. He sits beside the Lord and the lord shows him the journey of his whole life. He sees that there are 4 footsteps, so he asks lord, why is there 4 foot prints. So Lord says that "I was walking with you and the other foot steps is mine".
So he goes on and then then he notices that when ever in life there was some troubles, problems and suffering, he can see only 2 foot prints. So the man said "Lord I see that in my suffering you are not there with me but in my happy times you were there by my side, Why is it so??
The Lord then says " It is not your foot prints that you see, when you were suffering, I have carried you that time so this is my foot prints".
I get very encouraged when I remember this story.
Have you heard this one before?? What do you say about it??

I remember the songs FOOT PRINTS IN THE SAND. It stated similar to your story. I am touched when the Lord said to a guy that He carry him while he is suffering from different problems.
Have you try to heard that songs?
I think you should, you can relate yourself if you have a burden too.

riyauro,
I heard this story before when I was 14 years old, attending church in my school, in my opinion, I do not believe the whole idea that it was telling me, sometimes when I am depressed, no one can really talk to, God is also the same, but I did not give up, I pray everyday until I can get optimistic again, so it was understood by me that if your heart has God, when you are trouble, you can always expect God to be there, but if you has none, then I wish you good luck!

God is omnipresent and omnipotent. Whenever we are happy, God is there to share our happiness. Whenever we have problems, God is there to help us bare our sufferings. Knock and the doors will open for you. Ask and you will get.

Hi friend, really it is a good story, for the first time i am hearing about this, so god will carry us in the time of our sufferings and worries and take the burden for him, most of us don't realize this and blame god for our suffering. Really we are doing a great sin with our activities. This story is a great eye opener for lot of persons, thanks for sharing it here

I'm glad you share about this story. It's very touching. Indeed, God has never been unfair. At some point in our lives when we are in deep sorrow or is trap with problems or when we encounter some difficulties, we always seek His grace and mercy. We pray very hard so He will grant our requests. At some point, sometimes we felt like He is not listening to our prayers. We felt like He is not there for us. Sometimes when we are really really down, we even blame GOd for the things going on with our lives. But we never realize that He is always there He might not be granting our requests right away but He never failed us. We never thought He already has the best plan for us and in due time He will let us see and experience it. At some point in our lives, when we are in the peak of happiness, when nothing worries us, when evrything is fine admit it or not, but there have been instances that we forgot about him. I personally sometimes unable to thank him for his bountiful blessings and his unconditional love. At times when everything is doing fine, I admit those are the instances when I forget about Him and I regret those times. But I m still blessed. He never forsake me. I personally love it when I am having hard times it brings me back to Him. It made me feel closer to Him and it felt verry verry good. Even in the midst of darkness I have never been afraid for I know, He has been there always for me carrying my burdens and lifting me up whem I stumble and fall.
thank you really for sharing this one. I hope we have some realizations on it.

Lord is always with us, through the bad times, through the good times, each and every single time. That is how great our God is. We see by faith and not through our eyes. If you we are willing then God is ready to give us so much blessings. Just keep your faith in your prayers and ask Him to show you the way, also ask Him to increase your faith in Him and I am sure He is going to contact you in His way. His ways are always great and much higher above this world. I have always thought great businessmen, actors, politicians are great people of the world, but the children of God are much higher, much higher my friend.

I have heard this story earlier. I learn from this:
If we think there is somebody to take care of our problems we have less tension. Supposing we travel in a train. we believe the driver knows driving fully and is an expert. we have no tension and sleep. Imagine you are told the driver is taking this route for the first time-- no passenger will sleep."
"Our driver - God is an expert and he takes care of all our problems."

HI,
yes, i have read this story earlier but it is good to refresh our memories.
There was also another similar one on a lighter side - here the man was asking god - if you were with me all the times, why you didn't stop me from marrying?
Of course he's there for your at your call so why worry if we could pray or not pray. More so, when you pray for others, your worries are also diminished.
May god bless u/us.

Let's face reality, as of these days the world is now in great danger, we can see God's wrath and anger from calamities and disasters that strikes the world, only one thing because in the bible it is stated there that no one can escape the God's wrath and these signs are fore signal for the second coming of Jesus Christ, no matter how the countries government do to make everything peaceful, organize and make economy in stable ,still the only solution is everyone in the whole world should get back to God, be with his true religion, follow his true will, and live it as well, for this i do assure of getting back to God since he cursed the people for what Israelites did way back time, Israelites didn't turn back to God when they feel hunger, since they know that he is the only one who give life to them, in short all of our living and deeds are known by God, he is in control of everything the only problem is with us, how we should know and seek the truth about living here what are our main goal in life are we just here to live for our selves, or we need someone whom needing to get back and be worshipped for who is the one that gives the power to make everyone alive, still in the end God is the most powerful among all.

Hi riyauro,I know the story. It was once told to me by one of my Christian friends. The story is really very beautiful and morale boosting. It tells us that God remains with us always whether we are living a happy life or are in trouble. He never leaves us.All we need to realize His presence is faith. We can imagine ourselves to be in His company and cease to worry. That's all.We will feel His presence.

It is 'footprints in the sand' and it is a lovely story. It is true that the Lord is with us through all difficulties but I would disagree with the story in a way because my experience has been that I have been most aware of the love of the Lord and his presence when times have been the hardest. It is just a story but the witness of life for most Christians is not his footprints in the sand but his presence beside us in times of distress. It is just another way of looking at the same thing.

Yes, I have heard this before and it's called "Footprints In The Sand." There are some different versions of it, but the message is very powerful! I have to stop and think about this when I'm going through troubling times. I use to always ask myself why me? When I realized it's not just me, God is with me carrying me through and once I get to where he wants me, he then let's me down to walk by myself with him beside me. One must not doubt him being with us, even if we don't see two footsteps.
