do you like watching movies at home or theater ?

I like watching them at home better so I can pause it and ... go get something to eat or take a bathroom break. Plus I'm not bothering anyone when I stand up, take off my pants, and ... debate Robin Williams when he says why comedians shouldn't run for office. (Why do I take off my pants? Because you ALWAYS win the debate if you don't have your pants on! ... Have you ever lost a debate with your pants off?)

I prefer to watching movies at home.More relax and comfort with my family.I decorate one room become home theater with good of sound.Not too big but looks like at the cinema with dark room.I am free to eat and drink anything.No driving,no got traffic jam,and no crowd.But if i am on holiday sometimes i bring my family to watching action movie at theater.My kids love to watching dragon and avatar.

I prefer watching them at home....why? Because I like getting in my comfy clothes....popping popcorn I(kettle corn) which is my favorite and just chilling....in the theater sometimes there are distractions.

I too like watching it on the theaters because of the big screen and the good sound quality. But the cost sometimes makes me just want to stay at home and watch it online. Also, the only bonding we have with my long distant bf is watching the same movie online together at the same time which makes it more fun for me as well.

I like watching movies more in cinemas than at home. But recently the fee in movie houses is not cheap, so it is more practical if I watch movies at home than spend so much on cinemas.

For me I love to watch movies at home. In theater a lot of people I cannot concentrate of what I;m watching. But sometimes me and my wife still watching movie in theater just for fun and just part of relaxing. But watching movies at home is more favorable for me. Happy mylotting!

Definitely at home for me, as I can't stand the noises other people make when at the cinema, such as talking all through the film, rustling sweet papers, chomping on popcorn or hot dogs etc.

I prefer the cinema too.. But it is very expensive.. but it is also nice at home.. since i can watch it whenever i want and i can pause it too (if i go to the bathroom or grab more food), and i have subtitles.

this topic been brought up many many times before by others already in mylot movie discussion... but anywya..i will still answer.. I enjoyed watching movies in the cinemas more..but in certain circumstances..watching movies at home is movre convinient

When I decide to watch movie, I will choose different locations according to the type of one movie. I love to watch action or scary movie at the cinema, from which I like the loud voice and good effect or horrible feeling, and watch romantic or comedy movie at home, which is no much different from watching at the cinema. Of course, if my friends say the movie is not worthy of watching, but I still want to, I will watch it at home too. Maybe the difference of movie effect between watching at home and the cinema is the key point upon which I like to choose. In particular case, there are movie coupons our company delivers to the staff as the welfare, thus I am glad to enjoy watching movies at the cinema with my friends or family.

Hi, I like to watch movies at theater. We can enjoy movies as in theater the screen is big, the sound effect is also nice and it is very nice experience. But I go to theater very few times because now a days we can watch any movie by sitting at home. We can enjoy movies by taking meals, or drinking tea or coffee and can comment loudly. We can watch movie at home by lying on sofa or in any comfortable position.

Hello lymsnb I also love watching movies at cinema because everything seems perfect, the screen,and the sound effect. I love romantic, action, comedy and animation movies. Buy unfortunately I don't have time to watch movies these days. I just bought DVD's and watch it together with my family,niece and nephews. I have many collection of movies at home sometimes I review them whenever I feel bored. Have a great day..:)

I love watching in my home with all the comfort I needed.I really hate to watch movie in theater because you have sit there for almost 2 hours,also in home I get some privacy...

I only watch movies at the cinema if the movie is action, full of blast sound system. If the movie comes with 3D, I like to watch that too at the theatre. But for horror movie or drama movie, I will never go to the theatre. Horror, I am too chicken. The darkness at the theater makes it even worst. I can't grab a pillow, hide my face, or mute the sound. So it's a no for me. For drama movie, I don't feel it is necessary to watch it in the theatre. The nature of the movie, drama, nothing spectacular for the sound, pictures, etc. Besides I feel stupid crying at the theatre, everybody can see me. So it is better to watch it home.
