I have very high regard for people who can swim. I salute you yugocean for learning this basic skill. Swimming is fun and enjoyable; it's because swimmers have conquered fear of water and have full trust and confidence in themselves. Try to teach others the skill.

I like to swim only in a white sand beach because most beach resorts here in Manila are not white sand due to the fact that when you try to move in the waters the muddy waters would surely be seen, yet it is still enjoyable to swim in there and no choice. There are other choices whether in the sea or in the swimming pools of their resort where all open to all visitors to enjoy.

I know that swimming can make your body in good shape.I am just making myself become healthy because I was advice not to have so much exercise but just some taste of it.My age prohibits me to do more exercises the way I use to do when I was still younger.

Learn to overcome phobia of water. It isn't good. It's a big stumbling block to your existence. They say be in harmony with nature so that everything will turn out fine for you. There's nothing to be afraid of in water. Your worst enemy is you yourself.

Hi, Badkid! Be a man. Be courageous. Go often to a bath resort, seashore, swimming pool, river, lake, etc. to accustom yourself with their nature. Then try immersing yourself neckdeep. Little by little learn to float, trying to do it several times until you master it. That way you'll not get drown because your feet can touch ground. I pray for you, learn to swim.

I think that swimming is a good thing to be able to do because of the fact that it is such good exercise and can certainly help your muscles. If you cannot do it then you might find that it is a good idea to try and do it now because it means that you would be able to do this exercise like you have never done before. I learned how to swim when I was in school when I was younger, and I think that it is great that people are giving young children the chance to learn because it can honestly be one of the best types of exercise that they could possibly get.

I can't swim yet and first I should learn how to drive a car. I would be glad if I learn how to swim. There is just too many things that should be learned prior to swimming.

I'm happy for you to know that you find swimming helpful and enjoyable. It is a must, an asset especially for males. Would it be okay for you to be a group who are good swimmers, but you just on the safe side of the beach cowering in fright because of the fear of drowning?

I advise you to try to forget your phobia about water. It's easy to do. Just make it a habit to seeing pictures, movies, especially videos about kids, people having lots of fun swimming and frolicking in beaches, rivers and swimming pools. When you get the hang of it, you'll soon discover yourself loving water and swimming.

Whenever I am at a beach or pool, I really try my best to practice my swimming. I can somehow swim but I do not have the courage to go to deep locations for I am pretty afraid to drown. We are planning to go to the beach tomorrow morning, I am hoping to improve my swimming.
