There's actually a crocodile park in the city I am in and if you don't really like these guys, then you wouldn't love it there. Not to mention that there are foul smells. There's even a schedule for feeding if you'd like to see how they eat - they're served fresh chicken.
I think I'd rather see a big one than a small one, the small ones would move too fast while the big ones you can spot a mile away - so you'd have time to run and hide. Hehehhe..
Have a great mylot experience ahead!

i wish so. but since i knew about a true story of a tiger shark who killed two people and continued to pursue the third person to kill him too i dont know. sometimes i think wild animals dont attack just when they are hungry. but also because of the killing instinct they have.

Lolong is one of the many captured crocodiles in our country if I am not mistaken. Also, there is news that there is an even bigger crocodile in the place where Lolong was seen. The people in this place is afraid because their pets and animals are slowly dying and missing all the time because of this said crocodiles in this area.

Yes, that's what the people from that place say, bigger than Lolong. I wouldn't want to stay there either, but because that is their homes and that is where they have lived for so long, it is very hard for them to leave it. Hope they are all safe though.

wow even bigger? i would have to move out of that city^^ im afraid of pretty much all kinds of animals. so if i lived there i would probably have the bad luck of being killed by one. poor people its sad because even if they wanted to move out is needed a lot of money to find a new house. wish if there is a bigger one that it can be found.

ahah you are right thats kinda scary. even more after knowing that someone killed himself by jumping to the crocodile's place in the zoo. i wouldnt do that at all. so if he got killed by it, is because the zoo couldnt protect people enough from it. so im afraid that happened if i ever visited lolong ahah but sure that depends of the country. probably in pinas they put high protections.

Hello,
Here in the Philippines, when we see some unusual endangered species here like what you have said the huge crocodile , it is quite very interesting and exciting to see that kind of specie.Of course, for me I will be fascinated if I'll gonna see that huge crocodile. But it will be safer, if I will see the crocodile faraway from its place.hehe. I think that would not bother me anyway for environmentalist will give that huge crocodile a place for its convenience.

ahah sure i guess everyone would feel curious to see it near. but still it would be kinda scary dont you think? i would be afraid that he might attack me if it wasnt with protection. imagine you were in a forest and near a lake and suddenly a crocodile that big would come to you? i think i would die before he even touches me of heart attack

thanks for sharing this^^ its good to know that lolong being found is helping pinas economy^^ that way maybe some people can start to have a better life soon. i wish that all countries could have more or less the same richness. its so unfair that ones have a lot of money and other ones dont.

Lolong is now kept in an enclosure in the Bunawan Ecopark and Wildlife Reservation Center in Barangay Consuelo located 8 km out of town. People from nearby towns are now trooping to Lolong’s eco-park after the Palawan Wildlife and Conservation Center finally gave a go signal to open it to the public on September 17. The Bunawan Municipal Council recently passed an ordinance regulating and imposing fees on gate entrance, parking and other fees at the eco-park where the celebrity giant crocodile now resides in captivity.
Although the eco-park has a twenty-peso entrance fee for adults and less for the children, these proceeds will be used for Lolong’s food and the maintenance of the eco-park itself. The Bunawan Eco-Park is also incurring expenses to maintain electricity, maintenance and other incidental expenses like installation of CCTV cameras. According to Bunawan town Mayor Edwin Elorde, as of October 26, 2011, the celebrity crocodile has already earned nearly half million pesos in donations, entrance fees, and parking fees, with a daily income of about P10,000 that month.
to add some information, this article was being copied in the wikipedia. hope this one can help us all to be informed about this creature lolong..

shibham i understand you like animals very much. but its scary if you are alone with a dangerous animal without him being medicated or something. if the animal is hungry he might attack you. there were a lot of attacks by trained animals to their trainees. so thats why is hard for me to trust in wild animals. i like to watch the news but see it near no. just by far^^

Hello there Cat!
Yeah I saw that news a long time ago. But my husband and i would love to joke that there's a much bigger crocodile in the Philippines and that's the husband of our former President because, during her term, her husband was very corrupt and stole a lot of money from our country.
I'm scared of crocodiles because actually there were missing people who were most probably eaten by it.

Hi,
It was captured in Agusan Marsh, just a few hours North from my town. To think that the world's biggest croc is only a neighborhood away, made me stop and think about my place, now on the crossroads of a new peace agreement between the warring factions of the Muslims. Maybe, Lolong is a good omen, there has been plan to bring it to Manila, the capital city, but most people didn't like the idea, they like that monster here, maybe as a guard against bad elements.

aw god. im just afraid for you guys. because with flood he might get out of the place he is stuck in. flood happens a lot in philipines for what i know so i just wish everyone can be safe. i guess thats why no one in manila wanted the crocodile. in case he got out.

Environmentally speaking, this is a good indication that our ecosystem is still good to be able to sustain wildlife and to even nourish them to that size. But personally, I would be freaked out. I mean I already get panicky over a house lizard, what's more if it is a giant croc?

Yeah same here, but i think as long as there is a proper caging to the crocodile, we wouldn't have any kind of these problems of getting eaten. sad to say that other parts of the country are being destroyed because of mining and pollution on some factory plants.

Yes dear, for the record it's the currently the longest crocodile global!:)
With his existence, he brought tourism to the local area where he was found. So the authorities took care of him.
Funny that there was a time, when the capital city of Phil. wanted to take him out of the local place and bring him to the main zoo/park which is far from his current home. They wanted to bring tourism to the capital place:))
But glad the issue is settled now=)

im happy that it stayed in the city it was found^^ for pinas to grow it needs a good economy in all cities and not just in the capital. that way more visitors can go to the city he was found. everyone is curious about the biggest crocodile ever found^^

LOLONG the huge crocodile. So proud to have him around here in mindanao. Yes. He is one of the largest in the world. Lolong was even rumored to have eaten locals around the area where she thrives. Quite scary!! But this is no reason to hate Lolong. He is a crocodile and it is animal.instinct to forage food and protect their terrirtory.. The habitat of lolong now is turned into a protected area and a small.park has been created fir visitors to stay in and witness Lolong- a Filipino pride...

The croc was named "Lolong" and it is now in the Guiness World Book of Records for being the largest croc in captivity. It measures roughly around 30 ft, if im not mistaken. And yes, it is scary and humongous!
