Last Saturday was my daughter's 8th birthday and for sometime now she wants a pool party..so weeks before the event, me and hubby looked for the nearest pool where we could rent and have fun..and yes we found this restaurant with a kiddie pool and it was perfect!
We ordered the food in the restaurant and got the pool for free.. it was a blast for her and she was quite happy, we invited her friends and some cousins too..

congratulations to the success of the birthday of your daughter.belated happy birthday to her. she is lucky to have parents like you.I'm sure she is proud of you as this very young age. I hope I have my dad with us. he left us when I was in second year high school. our mom supported the five of us in all our needs.Without her, we will not reach where we are right now. We will give everything for her and treat her like a queen.

yes hopefully she will still grow up to be how we want her to be, respectful and not affected by the modernization and all the negativities it comes with.

I'm sure in the future, your child will bring all those good deeds that you've done for her. i am just hoping that she will not be affected by any of the modernization thing.it plays a big factor in the life of the teenagers.

Happy Birthday to your daughter
So it means she was born on October 20?
If that so, she has same birthdate with my youngest son. (^_^)
My youngest son did not celebrate his birthday with a party but he ask for a new mobile phone (-_-)

Sometimes simple things make kids really happy. I am glad it was easy for you and hubby to grant her wish. It gets tougher when they get older. She will always remember this though.

hi jazel_juan!
that is great! i'm sure your kid enjoyed every minute of it and that her 8th birthday was a truly memorable one!!!
my daughter had wanted to spend her birthday at her school so for her past three birthdays, that was what we did. three successive birthdays, three different schools!!! each one better than the year before!!!
anyway, i don't think she will be requesting to have a pool party but that ain't such a bad idea. perhaps for her 7th birthday, it is something that i can suggest to her.
cheers and happy mylotting!!!

thanks for the kind words jazel_juan.
we will be trick or treating in a nearby mall this coming october 31. i'll be getting her a pair of shoes to go with the fairy dress. we will be going to the mall later in the day. it was only yesterday that i was able to register my daughter in the mall's trick or treat activity. was actually planning to take her to the nick-asia halloween party at the mall of asia but decided against it since the party starts late and tickets cost Php1000 for two persons.
thanks for the offer. appreciate it a lot!
cheers and happy mylotting!!!

That sounds like a really fun way to spend a birthday. I know that this year my daughter wants to have her birthday party at a swimming pool as well, but her birthday isn't until in December (the beginning of the winter). What I am planning on doing is that I hope to get a hotel room for the night and then I will allow Kathryn to invite her friends over to swim and eat pizza. We won't have any friends spend the night. I might allow my nieces to stay with the four of us, but that will be it as far as overnight goes.

oh i guess it would be hard to have a pool party during winter that would be really freezing... anyways i hope your daughter will also get what she wants.

heated indoor pools..now that is quite nice i mean even tho it is winter they could still have fun inside the hotel with pools!

That is exactly the reason that I'm considering the route that I'm thinking about because most of the hotels have heated indoor swimming pools.

I am sure your daughter really had a wonderful time with her friends and cousins during the party. Small requests from kids for their birthdays can really leave a mark throughout their life.

Wow that is really neat that you were able to find a resturant that had a kiddie pool as well. I have never heard of anything like that before. That sounds like such a fun party. I would love to do that with my kids have a party like that but I doubt they have anything like that around here.

yes, we have restaurants here with pools.. i guess it has been a fad here because houses here do not have pools ( except for those rich ones)

I remember when I was a kid I never wanted to get off the swimming pool Celebrating my birthday by a swimming pool would have been a dream come true for me too.
I'm sure your daughter was very happy. I could imaging a wet little girl smiling from ear to ear.
Have a nice day!

Kids are happy when they have a party during their birthday. Big or small doesn't matter. In my nephew and niece story, they are not so spoiled that very concerned about how big their party was. Most of them, was happy even gatherings with their friends only inside their house and have plenty of foods.

Jazel this kind of lovely memories will last forever in our children. I remember we made our girl a Barney party, a Cinderella party, and Mickie and Minnie party. Moms usually are feeded with her children hapiness. IsnĀ“t it?
Blessings for you and your family... dainy
