My daughter was sooo delighted when she opened her gifts and all she got were slam books, it was that look on her face that was priceless.. she gathered it all and even slept with the books last night! Crazy huh? but i know somehow that is something she will cherish and will love. this morning she even was doing something in one of the slambooks, amazing.

Your daughter is so cute, girls always like slambooks, and I also think that kids in their childhood like to read is really a good thing, you should lead her to read more books step by step, and the content should be from easy understanding to hard, then she can enhance her intellect.

Well, you must excuse me if I am not informed about this subject, but what is a "slam book"? That said I am very happy that your daughter has enjoyed immensely your gift. What could be more satisfying than to see their children happy? I say this, reading the various discussions, I wish to emphasize that I am not married, so I'm not a father.

I know you are not a father my friend well a slam book is like this book of blank pages where kids can decorate it, put their pictures and even let others sign in it and decorate it too and put messages in it.

I remember being about her age and there's nothing that I want to receive for gifts more than stationaries! Especially the scented ones. I don't care if they're ig, small, whatever color as long as they smell good and they look so cute. I will keep these in my box and I will just look at them and juct collect them. One time my mom needed some writing pad for my dad (who was working in the ME back then) and she saw my "stash". I remember I cried for days when she used a coupl of stationaries from one of the pads!

Oh that is so neat. I am glad she likes her presents so much that she actually slept with them lol. When I was in 6th grade I remember making slam books with my friends using notebooks. It was really fun. I had completely forgotten about them until now that you wrote this.

Slam books are the craze for young girls nowadays, and I'm not surprised of your daughter's reaction. My son does that, too. I mean, not with slam books, but with whatever toy or gadget that's a craze amongst his peers. Oh, well, kids will be kids. But it really warms our hearts, as parents, to see our kids so delighted.

Hello jazel, well having slumbooks means like your daughter is entering such teenage life... By the way, how old is she now? why most of them love slumbooks, what fo you think? Well, for me, having crushes at such young age can be revealed in slumbooks. You can discover things you can't in your everyday life. There are things there bign asked which you can't ask a single person at times. SO having to know those informations can make you fall or be interested to a certain person. It helps you more to know and share things to another about those things they have said in the slumbook. Really pricelss!
