Being fashionably aware reveals more about yourself,it is not about your age, your standard cost of living or the kind of job you are in to..but it talks about more about your personality on how you handle yourself. I am very particular when choosing things im going to wear-dress,blouses,shirts,pants,shorts,undies, bags, shoes and accessories. Its not the "things that i like most" but more on how it will look like and how people going to rate it, It's not the price or the brand but the style and color that suits my looks and most specially it depends upon the situation, occasions or events.
I advice you my dear friends to be more flexible in wearing anything as long as it will look simple yet cool.
Happy mylotting!!!

sadly, a lot of my clothes come from a thrift store because i can't really afford to buy a lot of new stuff. however, i do have a friend who gives me really nice stuff as hand me downs. i do have to dress up because i work in an office and i tend to dress differently, well, more creatively i guess than most. i don't really like following fashion.

Hi Cher,
You don't have to wear expensive clothes to dress up as long as you know how to choose and will look great that will totally fit you and your everyday job...you are right just be creative.

I buy clothes from everywhere like big shopping malls, branded items, local shops. For me the price or the shop is really immaterial unless its very costly. I just look at a couple of dresses together. If I like one, I check if it fits me well and then buy it if within budget.
I have heard people saying they don't like fashion. But everyone likes to dress up appropriately according to the occasion. You need not follow fashion trends in order to be fashionable but you should match your outfit according to your personality. For me, that's fashion. If you dress the way you want, you feel happy and satisfied in yourself.

I choose my clothes well too and my accessories not on how others would see it. I dress not to impress others but to impress myself more. I want to look pretty and at the same time comfortable with what i'm wearing. What makes someone look good in what they were is not the clothes that they were but the smile on their face and the confidence to carry that look!

hi aliah,
Some people are judgmental but you can't see one person attitude based on what they wear there are people who wears conservative dresses but not conservative at all there are people wears revealing clothes but they are the person you can trust.
I am not a branded person I don't have specific fashion style I just wear what makes me comfortable and of course I wear it with confidence.

I choose clothes that I think fits me, aside from being comfortable. Usually my clothes are just simple. Though I am an office worker I don't have many clothes because I am contented with the uniforms that we are wearing at work, free days are on fridays.

I hope no one is going to read my personality today from what I am wearing...old jeans because when I go to feed the dogs one of them is going to jump all over me. A jumper that is a good colour for me and the jeans but was acquired so long ago I've forgotten when or where I bought it. Lilac socks because it is getting too fresh to wander around barefoot and they were the first ones I saw in my drawer.
When I go out I make more effort to look smart but that is not my real self. I dress to be practical most of the time. Perhaps if my social life was more demanding my demands on my wardrobe would be more demanding too.

I am not a fashionable person and I don't care much about it. I prefer to wear casual clothes which will make me feel comfortable. Sometimes I feel bored to see some people who wear the similar clothes because at that time it is the current trend. It is boring because you are not unique. So why I have to follow the fashion?

I agree. It reveals a lot about your personality. When I was younger, I used to dress really formal. I wear lots of skirts and dresses. It was during first few years in my job. However, after three years, I finally decided to dress down, to wear pants and slacks instead of skirts. I now prefer comfort over fashion. I now wear flats, instead of heels. I am always on the go, more active and busy, that I feel that formal clothes will hold me down. It just shows the change in me over the years. I am still conscious on what I wear, but more practical now. :)

I wear any type of clothes depending on the occasion. I don't dress up just to please others. I wear the clothes that I am comfortable with.

Hi aliah, it is true that you don't have to spend so much to be fashionable. I don't call myself as one but my sister in law would often told me that even though I just wear shirt and pants, I look like fashionable. I don't really know what she meant by that but I am particular with the shirt and pants that I wear. I also think that it has something to do with the way you carry yourself as most of the clothes I have are old now. I haven't bought new ones since last year.

When it is about fashion, I like to create my own style and do not follow the magazine. I like to wear something good to please myself and wear something that make me comfortable. If we are being confident with what we wear although it is not a branded thing, we would look good in the clothes we are wearing. Some of my dress now is homemade dress, no brand at all but Im confident wearing it.
When I choose my fashion, I check whether it suit me, my height, weight, and appearance. Fashion also can help us to hide our flaw, Im underweight after my accident and I lost so much because I was not allowed to eat solid food for 2.5months, so I choose fashion that won't show my super skinny figure. Fashion can speaks a lot. That is why my username is FashionFever

HI,
I give preference to comfort, then comes fashion or anything.I am not in to brands either. I am choosy about colors and style ,along with comfort.

Yes, at some point being fashionably aware will show more thins about yourself. But sometimes its not helping you to reveal. Sometimes fashion is used to conceal who you really are. Being simple is better than being fashionably aware.Because you are not constricted to just follow trends. Let us remember that clothes ca not reveal thins about us, it is our attitude, how we talk to people, how we look at to people. a dress is a dress just desirable, but it cant speak.

When I was still a teen I was more particular on the brand of the clothes I'm going to wear. Of course the peers will know that the one I wore was expensive.
Time passed, there's a lot of changes I observe to myself. I am now concern the way it looks like when I wear the clothes. But still I prepare to look at the brand

I like dressing up and looking cute with all the right accessories and a hang bag as well. Lately i havent been doing this or going out much so i dont have anywhere to do this. On the weekends i do try to look cute and dress up and do something cute with myself when going out running errands or just being with family. I dress simple but yet cool like you stated i dont want to look like an idiot or old and frumpy looking either. I like fashion and try to always look cute too.

There's something behind this fashion that really tells something-
sometimes induces discrimination.
If a famous or prominent person wears a jewelry nobody will doubt it as fake especially if it's a diamond studded.
But if an average person wears a diamond studded jewelry, most people might say it's not a real diamond rather a birth stone or semi-precious stone (worst is, some might say it's just a classic glass)
Regarding your topic, I am not a branded person or I don't have specific signature brand when it comes to clothing, shoes or bags.
I wear accordingly to what you said " what your clothes reveals about you".
