be a doctor

Ever since I was a kid, I have always dreamed of becoming a doctor. Two of mu uncles were doctor, my aunt was a nurse and so was my mom. And so I have set my mind that someday, I would become a surgeon. But, unfortunately, when I was about to choose which course to take for College, my mom disappointed me to take Medicine. And I didn't want any course not related to the field. So I chose Dentistry. I graduated with the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine, but wasn't able to pursue that carry coz I got engaged with different businesses.

Hi, If you want to become a doctor you should study hard. Doctor is a person who gets respect from everyone because he saves lives of the people. You can become specialist in any type as per your interest. You can become gynecologist who helps to give new birth in this world. Or you can become cardiologist or heart specialist. I wish you will be a successful doctor.

It all depends on what you would like to specialise in. If you like children you could train to become a paediatrician. Another specialty which seems to be successful is dermatology. Secondary specialties could be opthalmology or dentistry.

Doctor is a professional career and you will have a stable and well-paid job. And you don't really have to be worried about losing the job. Even if your income will increase as time goes by. You know many people have less competition when they grow older. But the doctor is different. The experience is so important. Of course there is also disadvantage of being a doctor. Such as you have to suffer the high working pressure. And you shall try to avoid mistakes because a minor error may have a big effect on the patients.

That depend what you skill now. If you want to be a dentist, you have to learn more about how to care dental and make dental always healthy. If you want to be specialist doctor, it will be need more time to study and need more money. You have prepare it before you take your decision

To become a doctor requires a lot of hard work but if you really want it, you can overcome all the struggles. If you really want to be of service to other people then work hard to be a good doctor someday.:) I guess the idea of what specialization to take would just come. You will still undergo residency training and you will be assigned to different departments so I think that activity would give you hints on what field you would want to specialize. Be the best doctor you can become!:)

Being a doctor is a calling. You have a very big responsibility. I admire very much our doctors. Together with the other members of the health team, they are there to save lives. Choosing a specialty is sometimes hard, but you should always go to what interest you the most. On my part, I am very much interested with how our heart works in coordination of our mind and body and here enters cardiology. Nowadays, we have a lot of cases of heart ailments and if taking care of the heart is your interest you can be a cardilogist. I also love how surgeons do the operation. There have been a lot of times I have assisted a surgeon on their majos operations. IT is very critical. It is a very sensitive job! As the major rule, " when in doubt, consider it unsterile." But it is very fulfilling when the operation is successful. But if you are fond of babies and children, you can be a Pediatrician. You can also take Ob-Gyne as yous specialty and deal Maternal health. A lot right? But again at the end of the day, choose to where your heart is. It is hard to force oneself from something which do not interest you. It will be hard for you to live by it. I hope I did help:) Goodluck to your career!!
