I have moved to a smaller room in the house and I do not have a built in cupboard in the room. The previous room we were staying had a built in cupboard and it was easy to manage clothes. In the new room I have made a wood so that I can use the hangers there. but i would like to know from you mylotters, how do you manage your clothes?? do you normally hang them? or do you fold them? or do you just dump them in a basket or something?? i am talking about the cleans clothes here
Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Hi riya!
I think it is difficult to manage clothes without a proper steel or wooden cupboard. We keep our ironed clothes in hangers because keeping them folded makes the wrinkles reappear. However, clothes like handkerchief and undergarments etc. could be kept in a folded manner without a cupboard.

hahah well it is good you bought one for yourself. I would like to get one too but hubby would not like a plastic one. I have one on his mothers side and no one is using it. But I am not sure if she is going to give it to us. Mother in law not good lady. she will not use and neither will give anything and the things just rot there. it is on the first floor. they have a big house most of it empty because it was hubby staying on the top floor when he was single and now that cupboard is his but she still not telling to take it. She is a big this u know. I get mad but don't say anything. anyway i am gonna ask her these days. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

I mostly fold all my clothes, unless there is a specific reason not to. Like if the clothes would get ruined if they are not hanged or something. I just find clothes take less space that way, and it's easy too, when you get used to it. So I would recommend folding!

Both, actually some clothes are hanged and some are kept folded. Dumping in the basket? the cleaned ones are never dumped into basket as far as i know. I mean i never heard one like that before.

Okay I have seen in my neighborhood. This girl has not much space and she has a big basket where she keeps her clean clothes. It is a good basket though but it is hard to chose or take out the one she wants to wear. ..she has to remove everything out and then put it back again. oooffff. so much trouble and it is like double trouble.. hahha.. anyway i do have less space also and there is a table in the room. I have placed the clothes on the table for now but I need to fix a proper place for it. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

I would be a natural dumper if it wasn't for the fact that I am a lazy ironer and dumped clothes need a lot more ironing than those that are folded or hung up. If you have no wardrobe then the best option is folding as much as possible and saving the hangers for your smartest clothes.

Well before we moved here a week ago, I did not have a closet either. I had one in a different room though. Thing was it wasn't easy to use, so I mostly would fold the clothes that I used regularly and put them in my dresser. Good clothes that I didn't use all the time I would hang in the closet in the other room.
Dumping clothes was not an option because the room I was in was small. This one is larger, still I have three old dressers so no need to dump and it makes for a room one can walk around in easier.. :) I like the closet I have here. Thing is I have to keep reminding myself that it is there for hanging clothes too.. lol

I will fold the home dress and hang the other dresses that doesn't need ironing.
Oh my I know how hard it is.
I have a built cabinet half of my room wherein I place all my clothes, hang, folded and other linens...
