Hi,my lotters. Are you still a student or have you worked. One of my friends who has worked for five years now have a plan to go to college. I think that is really a good idea. Education is never end and we should keep learning all our life. What's your idea, mylotters. Do you have a plan to study new things or to study at college?

While I was working I did a course on travel and tourism which helped me in my administrative responsibilities that I was handling. I also went for some computer classes before 'windows' came into being. I did basic, dbase, dos, excel and so on which is of no use now as 'windows' takes care of everything and is user friendly.I also went for German classes - just the first level. I now know what 'Ich liebst du' means!
I learnt to swim much later in life. However, I am not comfortable when I am down there. I hardly swim.

Last friday,2 of my colleages invited me to dinner.During the dinner,i learnd the 2 girs were both studying new things in a university after work every monday,i felt ashamed from the bottom of my heart ,as i was always planing ,thinking ,but no behavior. After the dinner ,i made a decision to take action at once. And so,huazhao, you are right,we should keep learning all our life, however, just planing is not enough ,we need decision and action. And thank you for inviting me into mylog.

It would be a great idea if he will be going back to college. Education is very important in our life. It would bring us to success. If I would be given a chance to study, I will grab it, I want to try other fields. I am teacher by profession. I want to try nursing field. It would be a great help especially to my family. they could be my family nurse. but for this time, i need to be employed to support my family and myself.

Part of the reason I got started on myLot was so that way I could try and make money because my current job is not going to stand for much longer and I am looking to go back to school and it would be nice to have something that would help to support me and my family or at least some of the extras. School is always good as my husband says you can never lose anything by going to a class. Even if you aren't searching for a degree even just taking a leadership class at a nearby college or online can give you the upper hand on promotions or new jobs. Also just having a degree in something that interests you. I am looking at a few degrees but am currently trying to get a degree in ministry not necessarily to use it as a career but to just learn more about the background and facts of my faith.

that's me,but if the chance came to you,i suggest you take it.the chance won't came again.i agree with that study more isn't a bad thing.

I am now aged 40 years old. I went to secondary school from age 11 to age 16 years old. Between ages 16 and 18 years old I did a course called Business and Finance Shipping and Transport at a further education college. Then I went to work in Finland as a children's nanny. Afterwards I traveled around Europe by train and stayed in dorms in youth hostels. I came home and worked as a container marketing controller. Sadly I got made redundant. It was way too hard to find another job. I decided to go off on a journey around the world and get a working holiday visa for Australia. My trip lasted for just over one year. When I came home I did more studying to become a primary school teacher. I keep learning when I can. I did a Travel and Tourism A Level and a Spanish language course. Yes, learning is life long.

Education is really a good thing and it is really an advantage if you were able to graduate with Bachelor's degree. But then this must not be always the measurement especially if you are applying for work. The employer must still look for someone who are skillful enough in their chosen field to work on.

I still have a plan to go to school even though I already have a baby and currently working. It's true that education never ends. Even when we are not in school we learn not academical but in a real-life situation.
