I try to get in the shower with lukewarm water and some salt added to it. The salt and the lukewarm water refreshes me and removes the fatigue. Then I dry up and if possible I move out of the house maybe on the terrace or even onto the roads(depending on whether it was tiredness or anything else) ... the crowd on the road helps me to move away from my thoughts and this helps.

thanks thesids, I learn something new here. I will try to take a bath with lukewarm water with salt in it. I have an active life, I do have a regular exercise a week.. maybe sometimes our body needs a break from all the things we normally do. thanks for sharing.

I do hope that you benefit from this which I learned by a silly mistake of mine. Though today, I am ill since many years and stay at home, I still find this a better way to take the tiredness away. If possible please update on how did you feel after the bath.

I am pretty sure there are days when everyone feels like that! Don't feel alone, we all go through this sometimes. I know I have been through it at times. I just do the opposite of how I am feeling. If I just want to sit around and do nothing I get up and do EVERYTHING! It helps to get yourself out of feeling that way. Then I get so much done and I feel so accomplished!

yeah I'm not alone and I know some of you feel this way. I wish I could also fight my own body most of the time. It's hard to do the opposite of what we want. my body wants to relax and my mind thinks about the work I need to finish..

I also feel like that a few times in a week. I would get too lazy to even get up from bed or get out of the room. It would take me time before I could finally push myself to start doing something. When it's really time to get moving, I'd force myself to stand up and go downstairs or outside, just to have a change of environment and it somehow sparks up my energy. Until, finally, I'd find myself working on something.

that's the word, too lazy to do anything. sometimes our body is our own enemy.. it's too hard to fight that feeling but we must. walking really helps to change our mood. thanks for sharing your thoughts here.

Moving some muscles always helps to rejuvenate. Even a little stretching in place, could help do the trick.

Listening to music can soothe and ease the nagging feeling of yours. Also, you may drink some coffee or soda, take some sweets, chocolate bar may do. Take a power nap, that would recharge you and have a fresh feeling for you to be on the go. Take it easy. Relax. Sleep early tonight. Everything will be fine tomorrow. Thanks.

Hi jobfindonline! How are you? I hope you're feeling better now. I think there are times in our life that we tend to feel that way.
When you're unhappy about something like at work. Either you are not motivated or you're just experiencing over fatigue.
For me, I normally light up a scented candle. Then a warm bath helps a lot too while listening to a relaxing music. Sometimes to an upbeat and I dance like crazy while singing out loud.
I watch funny videos on YouTube or on the television. Deep breathing is another way while doing a long walk. If I have extra cash, trying out new foods will be a nice treat. After that, I go to a parlor and have my hair fixed with my nails getting polished. Have a great day!

What you are feeling is apathy - you have things to do but no appetite and will power to start doing them. You need to fight off laziness and apathy and start working, or doing whatever you need to do. Laziness does not get us anywhere. It is just time from your life that is being wasted and it will never be regained back. When I go through such a mood - have things to do but not much appetite to do them - I fight those negative feelings and come to terms with the fact that actually if I do not do those chores, I will start feeling guilty, and they will all accumulate and it will take me even more time to finish them off. So just start NOW!

Well, if i'm not okay i usually do walking, listening to music and do writing. I love to busy myself if i am not okay and sometimes i just cry. I sympathized you. I also think that the reason i am not feeling okay is because i am tired and stressed.

This may sound weird, but one day, i was feeling very dispirited. Then i happened to watched a documentary show titled Screening Humanity, a Korean production. It simply depict how some people live their life. The episode i watched is about a 81 years old grandma, who enroll into primary school to learn despite her age, health and home issues. After watching it, my feeling of lacking drive to do anything is still there, but something different sprouted in my self. I feel like i should at least try to do anything that i can, before worrying about things i want to do but i can't.Be strong, ok? You can try to do it.

Hello there. I hope you can overcome the feeling that you have right now. Maybe you can go out of town or out of the country. Or just keep yourself busy. Maybe you can go out with your friends or go shopping or just go there and watch a movie. Just keep yourself busy and keep the people that really cares for you. I hope you will feel okay. There are a lot of reasons why you should be happy than of to be sad.

yeah I need a break far from the busy city.. I like to go to other places or country but it means spending more. I am too busy and I think and feel that I need to slow down for a while. yeah I missed watching movies, I almost forgot to watch television shows coz whenever I think to pen the TV I always think that it's a waste of time but now I realize that I also need to do it sometimes just to make myself relax.

Some times I feel like you. So boring . So stress. You know what I am doing in this situation like you. Yes, I go to beach near my house. Sit on chair and view the beach. I do it usually for about 1 hour, if I still feel stressed, then I'll take a walk along the beach, watching birds fly. Usually after doing this it becomes clear mind going back again.

I love going to the beach as often as I can if only I could. but life is not only about pleasures but full of work too that is making me so busy. maybe what I am feeling is just a fatigue. I think I need to go to the beach one of these days. thanks!

I agree we need to have our own private time, let ourselves relax, to bring back ourselves to normal. I guess that is what I need. thanks.

I also listen to music or just relax and do nothing. Unlike other people I know who make themselves busy to forget their problems, I need to not be doing anything to give myself time to think and assess my situation.

when i am tired and don't feel like doing something, then what i do to change how i feel depends on quite a few things. so it depends why i am feeling like that.
if i just had a bad nights sleep then i would want to deal with the reasons why i had a bad nights sleep, to make sure i have a better one the next night. and then i am quite nice to myself, as there's no point beating myself up for not having a good nights sleep, especially if it was for reasons beyond my control. otherwise i might do something i actually do enjoy, to make myself feel better, or alternatively, sometimes, like when i have to tidy up, but don't want to do it, i actually feel better if i do do it.
so it depends a lot on what made you feel bad, and what you don't want to do.
but if you regularly feel like this you probably need to think about what is causing you to feel a bit down.

Listening to music is good. It makes you feel relax. Aside from that eating may also help you. Try to eat something you always eat especially desserts. I always do that whenever I feel stressed or tired. I hope this will help you.

Hi! Personally for me, if I want to feel ok or to feel good, I listen to music. Or if not, I watch a feel good movie or anything thats on tv.
I know, there are days like that, that no matter what you do, you just couldn't lift your mood. I too, sometimes experience that. And when I cannot lift my mood, I just sleep it off, hoping that when I wake up, the heavy feeling would be gone.
