Do you think woman should be independent?

Of course I think a woman should be independent. What if they're married or have a partner die that has always financially supported her? Women need to be independent so if their spouse or partner can't. I also think that now days it takes both the women and the men to work to have financial stability.

Women should have the realization of being completly indenpendent,thus they have nothing to be afraid and do not need to rely on others . Even if being a housewife ,women should keep the ability of being indenpent in economy and spirit.

I think women should be independent. Today most women have good education. It is a waste if they just depend on their husbands and waste the time without work all day long. There will be ups and downs in the life. So you shall depend on yourself and therefore your husband will appreciate you. And you will not be so outdated since you keep in touch with the world everyday. Nobody can be perfectly reliable except for yourself. And this is why I think women shall learn to be independent.

I think woman should be independent, nowadays the divorce rate is very high, and you also don't when your husband would out of job, woman should also have the ability to earn money for tomorrow.

Women need to take care of their family as well as their earnings but both needs to be balanced. Financial independence helps to boost up confidence & women financially independent can cope up with any kind of pressure in their lives. They have a better networking & can handle life in a better way.

I think so.In modern society which is equal for everyone so woman should be independent in life.Although there are some diffrent in body but Intelligence quotient is the same,women will be independent if they hard work and use wisdo.For example YuHongMing who founded New Oriental and help more student to study English.

I totally think women should be independent and I'm trying to become more so each day, especially with my finances and despite my current broken leg recovery. It's a big effort, but I'm trying to do my best.

Thanks to men they now are more liberal in letting their women folk to take on the responsibilities which hitherto were their prerogative. Without this it would have been difficult for women to come out and shine. Hats off to these men!

I think that a woman should be as productive as a man could be. She should not be dependent on his husband. We are living in the age where women are recognized as someone who can do jobs as good as men. These opportunities are sometimes rare, and that any woman who is given such chance should grab it. Woman Power!

I think it's important for a woman to be able to take care of herself. We never know what life will throw our way. So it is a good idea to know how to support oneself. It's also nice not to have to depend on others all the time and have extra money for oneself.

Woman indeed is more independent that man. We can manage to have our own lives without them,we are more responsible at anything, though sometimes we are emotionally down, we can cope up with it.we can adjust more. and i think that is the very good part of us.

It is definitely a good statement to say that women should be independent. Taking into account the gender equality too, it is not good that woman depends to someone. They need to stand for themselves.

I believe women should be very independent in today's world. To me it feels good to be able to take care of myself and divorce rates are higher then ever. A man can be the breadwinner of the household if that's what he wishes but the wife should be able to make it on her own.
