Don't damage the character of others

jealous people are damaging other's character but their character is affected similarly. This is a true incident happened with me, when a bad mouth unsuccessfully tried to become my friend, he always made bad comments about others on their back but later I found he was saying bad about me to others as well. These people cannot be stopped, but we can skip from their company and be good with others.

If people are jealous of you that means you are something to 'write home about'. You should in fact be happy that you are being noticed. All what you need to do is to take care that this jealousy does not harm you in any way!

I don't know if they are jealous but they always want to pull you down. They don't want to see you successful. You're right. Yes, office politics and gossip is very bad for any organization and society. They create negative energy in the office and this is no good for the company to grow. I hate office gossip, I normally will just walk away if anyone start gossiping. I prefer working in a company where no gossip, but focus on goals of the organisation, and have great team work!

There are some people who don't know that they hurt the feelings of others by saying not so good things. :( Jealousy, pride are one of the reasons and according to the bible, it is one of the deadly sins of the world. If you are from the Philippines, you could sue them. I think the case is called malicious mischief or oral defamation. That would be too costly but maybe you can teach them a lesson if you can file them a case. I have red a quote somewhere saying that let us not ask to lighter our problems but let's pray for us be a better person. You must be proud of it! If other people are jealous of you, then that means you are on top of them. I agree that once you ruin others reputation your just also doing the same thing to yourself. They just try to pull you down but the truth is they are pulling dwon their own selves.Don't bother about it, instead stand tall and be proud.

I had cross path with people like that but I just ignore them those people have no place in my life! I know who I Am and no one can bring me down.

I am lucky to work in the company where there is less company politics and gossips. Another reason for it is I only reported back to my office every end of the month. So less time spend there, less problems. I heard of stories where gossip can really damage a person's career prospect. Many people resigned due to this! It is definitely not healthy.

There are so many jealous people around us. I don't know why they are like that. You do a good thing, and they start looking at the bad side of it. Hello! Can't they do any better? Usually people like this are losers. The best thing they do is destroy others.

I have experienced the same many times. I do not know why but I am always the center of attention of this kind of people even when I was still in College. I remember that two students blocked my way to our classroom one time. I can't think of any reason except jealousy why they did that to me. I tried to have a low profile because I think it was one of the reasons why people noticed me easily. When I was already working, it is the same. Some girls are too insecure because I was so young back then. But later on, it is not only girls who behave that way, men as well. I think that it is office politics. They see you as a threat to their high aimed promotion. The other reason is I don't mingle with them that much. They may be thinking I am cooking something behind their backs but seriously I do not have any plans of aiming for any promotion.

It is a great thing to feel awesome than being a bitter person. I don't mind what makes people think about it. The moment of appreciating yourself means an optimistic way of living. Don't mind the people who wish to pull you down. It is a sign of insecurity.

Yes, I encounter jealous people everyday. What is bad about it is when one does something bad already and trying to bully you already. I hope these people will get what is due with them. Absolutely, they are insecure people trying to destroy someone whom they are jealous of. Envy is in their mind. However, they won't get what they want because "one cannot put a good man down." well you know that people are jealous on you because something you possess better than them, so what I am suggesting you is find the skill or talent that you have, on which other people are jealous and improve it more and more, so that you will get success in your life...

I don't honestly believe that there is a person among us that has never had any kind of experience in our lives with people that are jealous. I think that no matter where we are in our lives, there are people that are jealous of us for whatever reason. For me, it is typically that people are jealous of the fact that I've been in a pretty good relationship for the last twelve years of my life. However, there are people that will be jealous of something as simple as what kind of car that we drive or where we live. I consider it to be pathetic.

Well my friend, this thing always happens to most offices. That's because everybody wants to be in a higher position over the others or would like to be promoted the fastest way they can - by being so like a glue to the higher bosses. Such people are those that don't really have talents but to gossip. I avoid those types of people, and have a group that i can trust.

In every organization, there is always a person who is jealous of the success of other people. Some people who tried to damage the character of another may have their own reasons why they were doing that. For me as long as I am doing what I am supposed to do, I just didn't mind what other people are doing.

hi, I agree we come across such people at the work place and also in the society. The people at the work place who are not so much hard working always try to pull the legs of others who are really hard working and good at work. I have come across such people at my working place.Its really like hell when we face such people sometimes we may loose temper and get really hurt at times.

Yes I have experience with them too! But I am not angry or mad about it. Actually they showed me who I don't wonne become! I just feel sad for them cause jealousy won't bring them any faster to theire goal in life!
