Hello Lotters,
I've watch it again on CNN and it seemed to be a Super-storm. looks like climate change is really giving us some troubles here.
Though I think it can still reach the Island of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao would likely be affected first.
SO better have your supplies ready specially food and water. with a huge storm like that it could tear down trees and electric post

Yesterday , we had a meeting in preparation of typhoon Pablo, in case it goes up a little and hit the Bicol. Things to be done to secure all the things at the mall were discussed on where , how and who will help in keeping them.
But i am glad that it is still sunny when the morning came.
I pray for those places that will be hit by Pablo.

Hello SimplyD, that's good to know that things had been discussed early on how to address the problem of the people who will be affected. by the way? are you going to help there? good for you. they will need all they can get, this supposedly category five can be too dangerous to rural areas. hope they survive it

Of course i am one of those who will help.
I am glad that it didn't pass by our province, though it was a bit rainy last night and early this morning.

I pray that it won't go down to tearing down trees and electric posts. That will really be a big problem and is too dangerous . Let's all hope that it will not be that strong. We are not yet experiencing it as of the moment, but I am not sure with the coming days.

Hello Gaiza12, I think it just did because that's what storms do. but there's nothing we can do about it but to make sure we avoid post and trees.just prepare the emergency kits and necessities so that you would have something in case of emergencies.well, make sure you are ready in case your wrong about it not being strong.

Hello Myfb, We have always been prone to this kind of strong weather in the country. most likely it's even worse now because of the pollution that we have been spreading and improper waste management that causes more danger to environment. there won't be any floods if the trees on the forest weren't cut.

Hi Letran,
Yeah, I've read about it over at yahoo news, and I'm worried about my mother and brother, they live in the Visayas. Despite the warning, I'm hoping against hope that this storm won't be as destructive as the others. All we can do is wait and see. And prayers, that's all we have now.

Hope this won't cause much damage like the other storm that passed before.
It's Holiday season and thu I do not celebrate/observe this occasion- but I do not want to hear bad news either.
Reminds me of the landslide that took hundreds lives in Southern Visayas 2 years ago :(

Hello Jaiho, No one from those families will ever celebrate christmas because they lost their love ones from the storm. swep away like some leaves or light stuff from raging water. forces of nature can't be helped but if they are prepared they can lessen lost of human live.

I am worried about Visayas and Mindanao and Luzon too. I observed this year 2012 we had few storms but just strong and heavy rains. I guess before the year ends this is the final storm that will leash it's fury. It could be this week. Hope people will be well-prepared and alert.

Hello averygirl2, they were prepared and given alert all day because of this. but if only they have a habit of evacuating earler then none of this would have happened. some filipinos are hard headed believing that they know the storm better in their country than any body.

It has been predicted that the worse ever disaster will be sweeping part of our country too. Thunderstorms and floods will make their appearances in kuala lumpur and its surroundings. Since we are thousand miles from kuala lumpur I hope we won't be affected if the disaster really happen. But I would also be stocking the necessities just in case we are caught by this disaster.

Hello Zandi458, there is no permanent shield or blockade towards the storm unless you got a shelter that is water proof.stocking necessities is the only way to keep yourself from panicking when the storm comes. not sure if it's going to hit malaysia but the strong winds is carrying everything on it's path.

I saw it on the news too... and it seem scary... but here in my area... it only rained a little bit and the sun shone for like 75% of the day... but just to be sure... i am going to buy supplies tomorrow... like rice, canned goods, snacks for the kids... etc...
Hopefully... this super storm will just pass by without leaving too much havoc here in our country...
Stay Safe...

Hello asretdd, Right now we actually decided to have our distilled drums refilled to the station just in case. I think there won't be too much casualties because the people are prepared this time compared to the last time. which is good because they have experience so many floods already. am sure they won't make the same mistake and do what's right.

All over the world people need to pay attention to the weather. Which ever it is, wet or dry it will be stronger and last longer then we have experienced before. There is no doubt that the planet is changing.

Hello savypat, There is no doubt, this is the cause of our abusing the planet and polluting the whole landscape. Climate change is really happening because the world leaders are slow in terms of lowering the carbon usage of fuel that creates the smoke, causign green gas effect that makes it so damn hot. i feel sad about this because the next generation won't be experiencing healthy environment

Hello atliegleb, If you are near the area where this storm is heading i suggest that you evacuate because it's dangerous to be waiting for it to come. not sure either if i can stay calm if i see a strong weather like that but i guess composure is the best to keep myself from being too afraid. have a nice day.

I have seen this on yahoo news just earlier and still hoping that this storm wouldn't do as much damage as Sendong. Our fellow Filipinos in Mindanao need not to suffer anymore. Hopefully this storm would pass Mindanao.

Hello Watchamacallitz, Unfortunately it gave damage to the people of new bataan. but it wouldn't be worse if there wasn't any kind of ilegal logging involved. lack of infrastructures are obviously the reason why they experience this kind of worst flood. not to mention the wood left overs from the illegal loggers.
