Is it fine to post a video in youtube without permission?

In my opinion it is very unethical posting video without the person's permission. Yes, that's not good. something like, I wouldn't want anyone posting me in public without my approval. Although I can write to youtube and tell them that it is an offensive video. they won't post it anymore

for me, if we want to post some, that really private, maybe we need permission from who was in the video. maybe some people just don't like he/she being watch by other, or maybe that thing make her/him feel ashamed with that

I think that anyone who agree with making a video should expect it to pop up any place these days.. I mean just because you are in the zone at that peticular moment an its all good, dosen't mean that the feeling is going to always be the same...suppose something happen with the relationship and that video is in the hand of an insane crazed person... I think we need to be more careful about how we pose or do things and on these video..Everyone is running to youtube these days... BE CAREFUL,,,

Hi friend, it is not good to upload a video without permission, we can upload our own video in you tube, if we are uploading other persons videos as well as movies or songs, we must have proper permission for uploading it. Always upload your own copy righted things in you tube to avoid unwanted problems

There are videos that need to be seen by public specially specially when it's about welfare and humanity, because some of our public news are becoming bias. But the person who's uploading should be more responsible like gathering more information first and more accurate as much as possible so it won't mislead the public.

everyone should be responsible of whatever they share on a socialnetwork site / public site - some just post whatever without thinking the consequences that will follow... it is only fair that you post / share things that you have full authourity on.. even sharing someone else's photo (no matter how innocent the photo may be) - is not a good practice, until you get the person's permission to share that photo in public..

Hi Shavkat, Once you have an account on youtube, it is like any other site where you can post...so people would upload all kinds of videos and it is upto the viewers to be selective in what they want to watch ! When there are certain violations the videos are removed by the authorities...

Welllll they probably shouldn't because it'll give them a bad rep. I have watched many a video on youtube that probably shouldn't be there due to copy right so, I'm probably just as bad and shouldn't be speaking.

Hiya shavkat, All of us should think if we would like to be in a video that would be on a place where everyone can see us. Sometimes the video itself may not get seen very much either. I do not allow any comments if I do upload a video which are very far and few between now anyway. Some of the videos are great but others not so its a question of taste really. But I would not upload them or put them on my pages now not ever as we could be liable without even realizing it.xxx

We should also know how to respect other's privacy. It's not always good to get all the attention for being able to upload some video that will become a big hit if you know there will be someone that will get hurt.

As logn as it is free, we should not exploit the situations. We can upload the video if found useful, funny, informative, sharing with a creative sense or with a public demand or with special interest. People have a tendency to go against it and only because of such thought, we really loses the real things at many times. Simply because of just 1% of people's bad thoughts, we loses many things and if we got a genuine cause, good things are always welcome and it is made for the best for all.

When videos are made public,be responsible for its content.Let us ensure,it brings peace and harmony,rather than murder and mayhem.The theme shouldn't hurt anybody's sentiment,it shouldn't cause disaster and ruin beside innocent people shouldn't be dragged to bear the consequences of the video.Finally anybody can express their views,that shouldn't make others intolerant or provoke destruction for people and society.

Well,i think it's interesting to post your video in the web.Because you can show you,you can make more friends,and you can even get money.So,why not.Just as far as possible the exhibition show yourself.

Do you have to be signed up with youtube to participate? I look at youtube sometimes but know nothing much about it. I think people should be circumspect when putting anything on the internet. Too many have done foolish things for all the world to see and have gotten into trouble because of it.

Yes we should be responsible in uploading a video in youtube or in facebook. Recently a video inyoutube created religious tension. At last the authority arrested the video maker to cool down the situation. To avoid such unwanted situation one should be careful in uploading video.

Hi Shvkat. My warning is to be ware of people now days. Although people shouldn't do it, there are people who will. If you are in an accident, with your lover, somewhere getting a massage in a place; you cannot be too careful. Keep an eye on people because if something happens that can be viral, there is someone out there who will make a video and upload it. When it is personal, it should not be viral without everyone's permission. If it is definite news or something done illegal and you tape it, then it is okay because people shouldn't do illegal things. So I think people need to "be responsible when uploading a video to youtube", but I wouldn't trust most humans to do that.

If you feel that your video is safe to post/upload for public viewing there is no need to ask for any permission unless the people in video have no objection about it. In case they rise an objection later, you maybe in trouble.

Hi i think its the quality of media that how fast a news spreads throughout the people and then it depends on the people that whether they should make it a big issue or leave it like it was nothing. so you cant change the nature of people.

Obviously not. people normally love to capture interesting and funny videos and interested to upload into youtube. There should be some regulations to follow for uploading videos. if any footage contains private,sensational and confidential matters than user should provide some restriction to (make this private) view this. Moreover, taking footage of others and upload into youtube without their permission obviously an illegal actions, need to banned them and those footage immediately.
