Hello Lotters,
I don't know the whole story to this issue, but for one thing certain it was because of cheating.
The mistress and hubby was strolling to the mall while shopping when they got busted by the wife and her friend. the mistress so afraid of the legal wife that she hurried down as she was chased and got beaten up.
It was indeed a scandal in the public, it's either the wife has no breeding or simply aggressive or she had enough. anyways, she should file an annulment since divorce is not legal in the Phil, yet.
Am sure there a lot of hubby's out there who are also unfaithful.

Yeah I saw this youtube video once about a year ago and am not sure if this is the same as what you are telling here. But I saw one when the friends of the wife were the once taking the video and posted it on the net which became quite famous.
That is what is difficult in the Philippines, separation is quite difficult since from what I know if you want an annulment you will have to spend at least 100k for the legal proceedings to go smoothly and the proceeding would not be easy as you will have to prove a lot of things in court to prove that your marriage is voidable. There is a much easier way to it and that is legal separation which is much preferred here than the annulment. This goes like you still remained to be married and could not legally marry again but you are allowed to go on separate lives.

Hello Rsa101, Nope i don't think it's the same thing. According to the fb commenter, thsi was shown in tv patrol last night and it was not clear compare to this one.the reason divorce is not legalized because some people may get married out of profession or business merging or simply to get a visa just like what's happening in the United States. maybe living in is the best solution to those who aren't ready to officiate their commitment.

Well not only that our country being a very conservative country when it talks about marriage we still stick to the traditional way that when married they should stay together for life.
But of course our government has put in place the guidelines that can make marriage annulled of course to give way to failed marriages like infidelity and the likes. The strict guidelines in it is just a way to really discourage couple from choosing this option whenever they have difficulty in making the partnership work.
Of course Living in is the option for most that cannot commit to a marred life but I think this kind of arrangement would only be beneficial to men than on women because men could easily get out if they wanted to and the women will always be at the disadvantage when the partnership fails. It gets complicated when there are children involve in the separation.

Not sure but this incident might have been captured by a video that floating around somewhere. Personally, I believe the mistress deserved it because I think she knows enough that she's spending life with a married man. I don't know any woman who will turn indifferent to a husband’s loyalties and fidelity. I can’t lay fault the wife for being angry and resort to violence - that the reason we have crime of passion. It’s not really justifiable but what can you tell an angry wife when her feelings at least are justifiable. her actions may be nasty but if I were in her shoes, I'll probably do the same thing without thinking. And Knight, annulment takes lawyers and a lot of money. I guess beating and a media report is less expansive that that to teach a married guy who cheats a lesson.

I agree with you jeanney. You cannot lay blame on the wife. I would eel the same too, if ever.
That will serve the mistress a lesson.

Hahaha... the wife is so cool! I am so glad for this man who married to a woman that is not going to take any more nonsense from his mistress in the public, she chased after the mistress and actually taught her a lesson by beaten her up, No kidding, i'm sure her husband must be really proud of his wife performance, at least she is getting some respect after this day.

uh uh..
I will never do this thing- ahahaha.
I have seen and met these kind of women but I never lift a finger on them.
I will never go down to their level- besides, hurting won't bring me to any higher grounds either.
Smiling at them or treating them well is too much an insult and gives them a guilty feeling -lols.

when you see a woman that is a wife being this aggressive more often than not she has gone through hell in that marriage cause of the other woman otherwise you would not just start beating any lady you see your husband walking with without confirming facts,i have seen women who have suffered so much because of their husbands mistress so those who stand up to fight back should not be condemned.

hello pomwango,
We have different opinion when it comes to this matter.
I never blame the legal wife it is her right and she has all the reason to do so.
But like I wrote...I AM DIFFERENT...
I have my kids and I don't want to put my kids in any form of humiliation.
I would rather set the matter in court and throw them behind bars till they rut

Yes its true, but the terrible part is, some mistresses are more aggressive that the legal wives!!! whoa!!! They have the nerve to fight back where in that case, they are really terribly wrong. Committing adultery is a mortal sin.
I've watched a lot of that in "Personalan (GMA7)" and "Face to face (tv5)". Some men, not only just have one but more!!! I don't know why men do that to their wives. I hope my soon-to-be husband will not be same as them (wish and pray).

i agree the mistress got what she deserved, its very unfair when you are struggling so much to make your home and some woman comes and messes up all your effort, its good she was disciplined.i would never sympathise with a woman being beaten up by the legal wife.

Haha I don't know the whole story but the mistress got what she deserved. If she wanted to be really discreet with their affair she shouldn't have gone out to public places where they can be spotted easily.

Yes, the nerve of that mistress to go to a public place and be spotted like that. She really deserved that.
I can feel the vindication of the legal wife!

Hi Letran Knight: I think that even if this a really uncomfortable situation, the wife hasn't acted rationally. It's difficult to act rationally when you are facing a situation like this, of course but we should all learn to control our emotions and maybe plan how to put in evidence his cheater husband

hi,
i have watched many videos in YouTube before or some of my friends shared some videos about a legal wife fought the mistress at mall or even in the road, for me that is good so that the mistress will have an afraid feeling for the legal wife.

Forget the other woman. The other woman didn't cheat on the wife, the husband did. She should be beating the crap out if her husband cause he can't keep it in his pants. Her problem is her husband. There would be no mistress if the husband wasn't a cheating louse.

Argh I hate it when that happens
For one, the wife should have controlled herself and left the dumb cheating couple alone. Filed a divorce or even better, take the husband's property to use for the children's expenses. What good would beating up someone do? It might be satisfying but it's only temporary.
I take comfort in removing a cheating husband in my life. Who needs that kind of husband any way? Besides, thank the mistress, now she will worry about that cheating husband.
Dang, no I despise getting married.

I don't know why a wife would dirty her hands and her spirit by touching the adultress. That piece of trash does not deserve the wife's attention and the wife, once she knows the husband has cheated, should not waste her time on THAT piece of trash, either. The husband and mistress are garbage and who wants to touch that or even think about it?
Her best revenge is the annulment and letting the two of them do what they will. If the husband cheats on her, he'll cheat on anyone he is with. The mistress will get what's coming to her in heartache and be punished much harsher than anything the wife can dish out.

LK, sad to hear about this, The wife's activity shows her real love with his hubby. But he is not deserved for her love it is really hard to tolerate this kind of betrayal activities in a good relationship. I agree most of the hubbies are in this sort. They must realize their fault and be loyal to their wife

Well,
I can understand that the wife was pissed at the mistress being with her husband but, in all honesty the wife really shouldn't have wasted her time on the mistress. It is the man fault for being unfaithful. Yeah the rage in the wife may have gotten the best of her but still the man should have gotten his but whooped. The wife has to deal with the husband, no the mistress.

There is such a thing as a crime of passion and I should think that the betrayed wife should be allowed to react angrily in this situation. I hate cheating by those who have promised to be faithful and anyone who encourages it is as bad. It is a shame that those who are 'celebrities' give such a bad example to others and that the subject of infidelity is one that is joked about. It is time the media matured and the public got wiser in their choice of people they admire.

The mistress deserved it although I don't think that the legal wife has a right to beat her at public place, at least that will teach the misterss lesson for not spending time with married man. How about some shame and moral value from that mistress. I think maybe some people there may have capture some shoot of that event. People these days tend to make capture of some unusual events happening aroun places.
