Thailand
December 9, 2012 2:53pm CST
If you know money Pacquiao and watch his fight today with Marquez then i think you already knew that have been knocked out by a striking punch by Juan Marquez. This fight is already the fourth match between the two fighters, knocking down Pacquiao brought to many Filipino's into an (embarrassment). Will you agree to that, can you call the defeat of our fellow country man an embarrassment? I disagree to the people who turn their back from Manny Pacquaio. I want to remind them that this humble man brought a big name to the Philippines and has been a pride for many years, he was the people champ and known all over the world because of his hard work to win the different level of fight... And because he was lose twice in a row now we can just be ashamed of him because he did now won the fight... Come to think how many Filipino's he have help from his winnings and how much pride he gave to our country... So for those Filipino who are throwing Bad comment on Manny Pacquaio, i must say SHAME on you and not on this guys, who game us fame not more than once but couple of times...

Oh so you are from Mexico, congratulations on new champion... It was good fight and Marquez just took a lot of courage to finally got his head up by winning over Pacman.. I am sure all Mexicans are celebration your triumph right now... What i don't like about our some fellow country men just suddenly turned back or giving just bad comment because of Manny Pacquiao's defeat, i think Pacman deserves to be respected after of his many years of representing the Philippines... Looking forward for the fifth fight...between two legendary boxing fighters.

The question, is he still the person we used to know before becoming the high profile in this kind of sports. There are two sides of perceptions that run in the mind of his fellowmen, did he still possess the humility in his character or not.

Well, if you can see he was pre-occupied now also one reason that he was not able to make a good time to give him self a proper condition and shape... Many of them don't know that Manny is also helping a lot of people through Charity works..

Can it be related to politics?

because Manny is not just a boxer. He wants being around with many people and helping them. He's a boxer, a politician, a TV Host, and very active in church. That's the reason why they are saying he cannot concentrate in boxing. Some people want Manny to focus in boxing only. Manny wants to explore a lot of things specially when it comes to helping his countrymen. Did u ever heard of a boxer who is giving money and jobs to people after receiving his money from winning??? Well we have MANNY PACQUIAO in Philippines. Didn't you notice Eric Morales came to Philippines to shoot commercial with Manny and they even became close. Manny invited Morales to his house and entertain him as a true friend. Remember, it was just boxing...Mexicans and Filipinos are not rivals. In fact Filipinos and Mexicans have lots of common.

He used to be rated the best fighter in the world (pound for pound) I don't know what has happened to him, but he is still a great champion and you shouldn't be embarrassed. Boxing is the most difficult of sports and there is no hiding place. We have had a similar experience here in the UK with Ricky Hatton who got beaten by Manny Pacquiao in only two rounds a few years ago. Hatton retired but came back out of retirement last month only to get knocked out again by a lesser opponent. Time for Pacman to retire before he gets seriously hurt. Your people should be proud of him.

you are right, he must have stopped earlier before that two consecutive s loses... He have done good enough to prove more for the people, for many of people he was already a champion and great fighter... Serious damage will endanger his life if he will continue..
