I don't know if I spelled it right but I think you know what I mean. Personally, I know I have an awful singing voice so I never participate. I have 2 girlfriends who love it and do it everytime they go out. Both of them have good singing voices and everyone loves when they get up. On top of having no singing voice I think I would be embarrased to sing in front of a lot of people. I would probably get booed off the stage. Do you participate in Kareoke? Do you have a good voice and don't mind singing in front of a lot of people?

Ok let me tell you..I am super shy. But this is fun. Believe me It's great if you get up there and sung beautifully and you don't mess Up. Everyone will cheer and you'll have an awesome time. But if you get Up there and you suck...that's actually when it's more fun. Get up there With your friends, block out the audience and have fun with ur friends . Please I'm not kidding, karaoke is a lot of fun.

I don't know....I don't think I would have the guts to do it. Maybe if I start drinking and get drunk I might do it but I don't drink so that's not going to happen.

Actualy i cant say that i have a good voice, lets just say my voice is fair enough, not that good and not that bad as well.i love music and i love to sing, but singing in karaoke is just rare to me,i just sing whenever i only have my family to hear me but speaking of singing in front of many other people is a big NO. Im quite a shy one so i never dare to sing on public places.

hi, sad to say that i don't have a golden voice or a good voice when it comes to singing,so i don't have an interest to sing because of my voice, because if God give me a beautiful voice for sure i will sing every singing contest and in the stage too.

You are so right about that! If we had great singing voices we would all be on stage and making albums.

I do not have a nice voice too but I still love singing on videoke with my friends. We enjoyed doing this every weekends. I love to sing any songs even it doesn't fit my voice :) specially wen we are already drunk we feel like we had the most beautiful voice in the world. It's fun though :)

It's actually Karaoke but these days it's now videoke because you are singing the song in with lyrics in tv. It's super fun and I missed it so much. Doesn't matter what voice you have, once you get started and a bit drunk it's super!

I think it's the fact that I don't drink that keeps me from doing it.

Well, you can also try singing along with friends. They can build up your confidence and help you enjoy more.

karaoke is pretty fun. Because singing voice doesn't matter at all. most of my friends have awful singing voice but do karaoke if they have a chance to. Its not like you got to have a good voice to do karaoke. you just need to have fun.

I don't think it's so much my voice as it is being scared to get in front of strangers and sing. It's just not me.

I'll sing in front of the kids, and I'll sing kiddie songs. I might even sing along with the radio, but I will not sing karaoke.. I would have to be filling pretty good to get up on stage and sing like that. I do sing, but I am not a good singer. I don't know where my daughter gets her singing voice from but it sure isn't from me or her Dad.

I've been singing to kids since mine were very little. When my granddaughter was born I had to learn all new songs because she loved Barney and there are a lot of songs that go along with him. Now I'm singing to my grandson and using the old songs from when his Dad was a baby and he seems to enjoy them.

I always participate in karaoke/videoke and I don't mind singing in front of many people. As for the question if I do have good voice? Actually, I don't know but I don't care... What matter is the fun and some sort of happiness I am feeling doing singing... Well, as of you... Why don't you try to sing just to have some fun. Anyways it will relax you and it is so good to have some fun as always as you could...

That's great that you enjoy it. I think the thing is to realize I'll never see those people unless I go back to the same bar again.

I don't know what mine is. But, from my friends opinion, they told to me that my voice is good. I don't think to sing in front of a lot people, because i'm very nervous to do it. Even it's only on my imagination. I've sang a song once, it's in front of my family only. It's on my mother's birth day, because she wanna hear my voice when i sing.

I have done Karaoke a few times. One time it was at a local bar but the greatest place I did karaoke was when I went with my family down to Mexico. When we were in Mexico we were at this resort and they had theme nights where they had performers and what not but the one night it was karaoke night and people could sign up for it, so I decided to sign up. So when it was finally my turn to go on stage and sing, I did so with my brother and there must have been atleast 2 or 300 people in the room at the very least and they were all cheering us on it was great. We did a really fun song too. The funny thing too is that they gave us both a shot of Tequila right on stage before we sang the song. Ah, good memories! Also, to answer part of your question I would say I have an "alright/average" singing voice haha. Sometimes I sing bad, it may depend on the song really as well. Cheers!

That must have been fun with your brother next to you to help give you the courage to do it. The shot of Tequila might have helped too.

Karaoke is so much fun! I have an awful singing voice but it's too good of a time to turn down. I'd highly recommend it! maybe go somewhere where you don't know many people and just have fun with it. Think about this: chances are you won't see most of those people again and you have nothing to lose. Also I'd definitely recommend going up in groups. It takes the pressure off so you can just have a ton of different loud voices singing instead of just yours being on stage for review. I only do karaoke with friends and I think it's way better that way. And don't forget to pick a fun, catchy, well known song! If the audience loves the song and it's one of those songs you secretly belt out in the shower, then everyone will love it no matter what.

If I were to do it I definately would have one or two people with me. That way you couldn't tell who had the bad voice in the group. I would also pick an oldie or country western song that I know well so I would at least be confident that I know the words.

I don't want to sing if I don't know the song.:-)

That's the thing...you have to have some idea as to how the song goes and it helps to know the words even though they are on a monitor.

Karaoke is a fun time for my people. I do like seeing my social friends or even in the family sings their fave songs. As for me, I just sit in the corner and be contented as an audience. I do like singing but not in an open air.lol
