My friend and I went to a Thai restaurant in the city and tried some of their food. After we ordered for the main course we searched for some desert and found this what they call spicy ice cream. Almost all of their desserts are spicy, so we were very curious about that spicy ice cream and we ordered for the two of us. When it was served it looks nice and I tried eating it, it was so sweet at first but then it turns out to be spicy! Yes it was but I can't stop eating it, it was so delicious and sweet but it's spicy, I can't understand it whoah, have you tried this?

Yes indeed, we tried to look for desserts which are not spicy but they all are, you should try it once and you'll love the sweetness and the spiciness of that ice cream :)

That sure sounds interesting. I may want to try one over the weekend if we can go to a Thai restaurant in the mall. I'm not much of a fan of spicy food, but I love ice cream. I want to try that, very soon!

In the Philippines, a same type of ice cream can be found in Ilocos Region. I haven't tried but looking forward to have the first taste of it. It is a bit far distant from my home town, it will take 2 or 3 hours travel.

I have never tried anything like spicy ice cream. I have ate vanilla, strawberry, two in one, chocolate, butter scotch flavours. How a ice cream can be spicy ? but i will really taste it if ever i visit a thai restaurant. It must be of some different taste than the ordinary flavours available in the market.

Yes it is! :) creamy and really sweet and very satisfying, it was a chocolate cake with one scoop of ice cream on top it's just small but very worth it.

That is really something new, a spicy ice cream. The type of ice cream i ate in the past are mostly sweet, there is never one time i have came across a ice icream that taste spicy. I often wonder why is that manaufacturer of ice cream always put so much sugar inside their ice cream, never try to make it taste spicy, sour, juicy, to our tongue, may be because sweet is appealing to our sense of taste and to our teeth. That restautrant is quite unique for having a "spicy ice icream' in their menu.

I have not heard of it but it sounds interesting. You did not say what the spices were and I wondered if you knew. Taking a guess I would think that nutmeg might work well and also cinnamon.
My favourite icecream is raisin and rum but I do like to try new flavours.

While some exotic restaurants over my place serve such treats, I haven’t tried tasting spicy ice-cream but I had eaten some spicy dishes and it’s more likely tasty than your usual dish.
Although they may add up a little kick and give you intense satisfaction when it comes to flavour, you should balance your intake of spicy flavours in your palate because sometimes, it can cause some bad effects to your body.
Some bad effects of spicy foods/treats can cause acid indigestion which can lead to gastritis. Also, constantly putting spicy food/treats in your palate can reduce your sense of taste.

That ice cream sounds interesting and different, depending on the ingredients I would consider trying spicy ice cream, but one of my favorites is butter pecan.
