For the holidays i got movies from a friend to watch over the long weekend.. got Rise of the Guardians, Breakin Dawn 2 and the Hobbit. I do not know if my family will like it lol as they want to watch come local movies.. but not yet available... Then this morning, i woke up quite early as my kids will be back in school and i saw that my brother and his son was already watching a movie and they were watching Breakin g dawn lol it was funny because i didn't know he will be interested in it hahaha but it was also nice, both of them were talking about vamps and wolves hahahah and my dad heard it and he joined them.. i do not know if they were really into it or just humouring each other haha.. they were like amazed by it.. it cracked me up quite early. oh well a good start for my first day of work too and first day of school.

I nothing against Breaking Dawn's story. It's that the friggin vampires sparkle. That alone made me throw up in my mouth and swallowed it in. I'm a big fan of clans and battles and what not. It would have been great to watch if it wasn't for that small downside. That's just my opinion, though.

How did you manage to get these movies already? They are not out on dvd here yet--in fact, they are still in the movie theaters. I loved The Hobbit and Rise of the Guardians--we saw them in the theater over winter break. I haven't seen either Breaking Dawn I or II yet. Did you like them?

Yeah, it's really funny. You didn't expect what would be their reaction while watching those movies that out of their genre. Maybe they are not choosy, or maybe they don't have any choice except to watch that movie. Better they like it after all

I think they enjoy it much. Most of the kids are not selective to genre of movies. Most of the time they love to watch scifi and cartoons

Well, I start to tell you that I'm happy for you that you had a funny morning. The titles of the movies you've written, do not know them belonging to one that is "The Hobbit" (taken from trlogy of the Lord of the rings). You were so surprised to see your daughter watch these movies, but in this regard I would like to ask you this question: The titles of the movies that you did see the boys, were suitable for their age? I'm sorry if I'm intruding in your family affairs, just for the fact that some titles are also coming from me, in Italy, appear to be suitable for an audience of adults only. Thank you in advance!

Umm no it was not my daughter watching it.. it was my brother and his son that were watching it, I already saw that movie with my daughter long before they saw the copy of it.. The movies we watched were all fine for kids, as we were with them when we watched them, i really do this, when kids are around we do watch it with them so we could explain scenes..even those scenes with kissing - i do not cover their eyes instead i tell them all is natural and tell them with no malice, i try to educate them for i know they could understand it already.

hello there, well lucky you,got a chance to watch movies with you family. Its nothing to worry about weather they will enjoy the movie or not,if they will ,they will concentrate and watch the movie or else they will talk within themselves. Its actually a good way of interacting with your family members on a different topic then a usual one.Its gives you the opportunity to know them well and their views on other aspect, which would definitely help you to strengthen the bond within yourself. god bless take care raj india

I loved the entire twilight book series but the movies I wasnt quite as thrilled with. I loved the first one but the others just didnt thrill me very much. The only one I havent seen yet is breaking dawn part 2. I hope some time to be able to see the hobbit. My husband and I went to see all the lord of the rings movies in the theaters. He isnt alive anymore but I want to see the hobbit. I just wish he was here to see it with me.

I also love the Hobbit as i am a big fan of Lord of the Rings too, me and hubby would also watch it again and again. As for twilight, yes the book is better than the movies.. they made a twist at the end of the movie but so far it was fine for me.

In my opinion, any movie can be great when you watch it with good company. you can watch it together quietly or bash every bad scene. Glad you had a great start. I got back to work yesterday and I felt so lazy the whole day yesterday. Today seems better. Continue having a nice day!

Hi jazel There is nothing better than watching a good movie on holidays - and that too right in the morning... and if you can add a mug of cold coffee... I can always feel comfortable at your place But wait. This discussion reminds me of my BIL. He was here for a few days last year during March. And as he was holidaying, he too woke us up one morning with a movie being played on the computer... and though it wasnt a great movie, but it seemed he was really enjoying it. And I thought - really, how can anyone find a movie right at the morning 7:00 am, but then, I too started watching the movie with him and by the time, I had brushed my teeth, I was ready to enjoy it more... What kind of movie is that Hobbit? Anything related to war? or even those Terrorist things? Or even Space? Though I would love to watch a comedy in the morning.

Wow now that is a great morning to start with. May you always be blessed with that kind of morning and continue sharing the happiness even in a small way. And having a great movie at home with your family is a great way of bonding and having quality family time plus snacks adds the fun and enjoyment.
