My dad has agreed to buy my home here.
Funny thing is, it was his and my moms home.
But my mom gave it to me when she passed.
Now my dad retires at end of march, and will move back to Mexico.
So he calls me and says... Id rather buy your home from you,
so you can move to Usa with your son. If I dont buy it.. Ill have to buy another one.
This way I get a home I love, and the money stays in the family.
So looks like Im moving in july to the usa.

Good for you. I think your father's decision is very smart and reasonable. On the one hand, indeed the money stays in the family. On the other hand, this is a chance for you and your son to move to the land of opportunities. And what's the best here is, like you said, that your dual citizenship will give you the chance to come back to Mexico and visit your dad anytime you want. Great deal it is, and I wish you all the best here!

Great! Actually I can understand why he wishes so much to give you the money - as parents we're determined to support our kids forever, no matter how old they're getting it's just how parents are structured. I also understand your offer to give it for free, too, because we as children consider it right, that it's our turn at some point to support our parents... What a circle of life it is...

sure is, Im so happy for that. I miss my son. I told mt dad i would give him the home for free. It was his anyway. he said no way. He only would take it, if I took the money. of course I gave my dad a great price for it.

Hi Maria.
Well that is a long time. I thought you would be leaving sometime in February. And I was already worried that I will miss you here. But I think it is the other way around for you. You might be very eager to go to US. So what are your plans after going to US??
Have a nice day !!

Has that been your intention my friend to move to the USA in particular? Did you have plans to move away this year, or has it all been thrust upon you, and this is one big surprise? Do you know what part of the USA you will move to? That will be a big culture shock and big adventure for you, moving to a totally different country! Sounds like fun. I have always lived in the UK, and probably will always stay in the UK. Unless of course I win enough money to have a holiday home in a cold country to escape our Summers! So are you happy about it, moving?

I had 2 real reasons, one my son is there going to school. the 2nd is a male friend. he has asked me to, so we can get to know each other. the deal with the house is;; here in Mexico its really hard to rent a home out. So, the only was was to sell. it was a surprised from my dad.

That sounds like it is going to be a good move for you.
How does the cost of living compare between where you are currently and Las Vegas? That is something to keep in mind as you are making plans to move.
Looking at the average price of a house in Mexico (less than $45,000USD) versus the median house price in Las Vegas ($139,900USD in the Oct. 12-Dec. 12, 2012 period, according to Trulia http://www.trulia.com/real_estate/Las_Vegas-Nevada/market-trends/), it looks like it may be a bit of an adjustment.

That's good that you won't have to buy a new house. It sounds like you shall be fairly well set, then.

Oooh, coming to America! There are too many ways to earn online in America, I wonder why they don't put many in Mexico.. Perhaps I'm just not looking hard enough if there are plenty down there..
But of course, now that you're coming to America, I'd like to know how you'll feel about Mexico. Are you feeling homesick just thinking about it?

Where to?
You know, Oklahoma City ... makes your money more-valuable (you know, low prices etc.) I don't have any stats on that, but I'm sure you can 'Search' (text-box at the head of this page) to see where is best!

It is lucky for you that your dad is buying your house. Here in the UK it is a nightmare trying to find a buyer for property. Nice picture of you with your dad too. You are a very pretty lady and will no doubt be popular in the US.

umh if you plan to move to usa soon and don't need a house in Mexico, then you can sell that house to your daddy, it is not bad idea...
But if you think you still need a house for sometime you return to Mexico then you can keep that house there and rent a person to care it or let people rent it for living....

your dad is so kind, and buy your home. I think your dad is love you so much and he gave you your money and why don't you gave your dad stay in your home and don't have to sell to your dad? I think you stingy to your dad. That is your father home too. When they gave their home to you. They don't ask your money, right? they don't ask you to buy their hous, right? Then why don't this time, you give your home to your dad? because in the end, he will give back that home to you anyway
