The 1st layer of my skin is shedding off as a result of the facial cream I am using. It is like the result of some creams I know that have this kind of skin changing thing. It is not nice to see one's skin coming off, of course it's just the first layer but is this good?
I just purchased a new facial night cream which promises to remove wrinkles and blemishes. What do you think of this? I know of similar astringents that also do the same action of skin peeling.

Hi cutie
I know that skin peels sometimes due to climatic changes but never heard about skin due to creams. This may be for good and even for bad. I mean if the cream is not too harsh and no side affects other than peeling and if you are feeling good then you may relax . But if there are any side affects then you should visit the dermatologist.
Its better to take care with out any serious affect.

I am not sure what cream do you use. For me the outer layer or the epidermis of the skin serves us protection for any harmful particles in the environment. The peeling off of this layer will expose the dermis layer, and it will be susceptible to infection or bacteria.

yes we should take proper care if the dermis is exposed to heat it may cause other problems as well.

it is a sign in a good aspect since in a way you can get new skin and the old layer gets peeled off essentially which is brighter skin

Skin peeling is not bad at all unless it's too much. Dermatologists encourage peeling of skin using dermatologically proven products. It helps regenerate the skin keeping it young looking. Some use (well I don't know if you are familiar with it) maxi peel exfoliating cream, some say it is not good since when you use it and go outside the sun rays may damage your skin living customers with very red irritated skin so that's something not advisable to use so be careful my friend.

Have you checked with a derma before you used a new product? I experienced facial peeling but it was the result of the treatments I got from this skin care clinic. It scared me a bit because my face felt hot and tight and itchy. It also looked icky. But true enough to the staff's assurance, once the treatment was over my skin looked so smooth, blemish-free and healthy.

I don't think that a facial cream should make you or peel your skin. This is something you should research and check out before continuing use. If this is a product that you enjoy using you should do everything you can to be sure that it is safe for you.

some are effective but you never need to over done it. as skin where peel daily get irritates. and when you put a cream on your face should be gently and not rubbing it. since, i also see some people who get skin peeling the they easily get red when exposed to the sun and as usual t become blacker in color instead of whitening so a good sunblock is need o protect the thin tissue from too much skin debridement.
