How Safe Are We

This is why I don't drive. I didn't get my license till I was almost fifty-one years old. Mainly due to where I lived I didn't really need a car. When I moved to New Mexico I had to get my license which I did. I drove for a year in and hated every minute of it. To the point that I lost to much weight due to my nerves. People get their license but then don't drive by the rules. They don't signal, they speed, they tailgate. They now talk and text on the phone while driving which has caused many deaths. I have seen people reading the paper, doing their makeup and eating while driving. To many people just not driving and watching what they are doing or acting like they are the only ones on the road. As long as people drive in this manner we will continue to have accidents.

Most of these vehicular accidents are caused by speed driving. Hope these speed enthusiasts drivers will realize the possible consequences of their actions before any love one or he himself would be a victim of this craze.

Hi Aries, you have pointed out a very sensitive issue. Everyday we are losing a good number of valuable lives for vehicle accident in almost all countries. The reasons of accident are various. Personal problem of driver, Excess drinking, defect of vehicle, defect of road etc. Have a very nice weekend.

Indeed it is scary out there, once we step our foot out from the house. Then we need to be safe and alert at all times. I had seen similar scenario, I worked in the field before. I used to be conscious to be safe.

I agree with you. we need to be more careful when we are traveling or when we're on the road. Some vehicular accidents are caused by carelessness.

it's very scary to see the accident on your eyes. it's lucky that i never see a real acident in the life, only know that from the TV program. but i personally experienced a traffic accident when i was 12 years old. i rode a bike and hit a tricycle. lucky it's very slow and i am ok. my aunt was scared and ran to see me. hope all the drivers be more careful !

So I drive my bike slowly and with cool head. As because our roads are narrow, uncarpeted or broken and my people are so unconcious and ignorant about how to drive reasonably. Every one should realise that to drive like an awkward is inscientific and not safe for them. Apart from these people dont know how to drive a vehicle as to prererving its longevity. In my country 75 pc vehicles are misfit and defective. And the mending servers are too wrong to repair a vehicle. People dont follow traffic law and every running vehicle is just like a sleeping bomb may explode at any time.

That's right. Most of these accidents happen at dawn, I wonder why it is so and most of the time, motorcycle riders are involved. I hope those who uses that means of transportation are careful enough and all geared up for safety purposes.

When I was working I've seen several accidents too and it's scary, I even experienced some vehicular accidents although not very bad. These accidents made me very conscious while on the street, I always follow the traffic lights and never take the risk of crossing the street with vehicles coming. It's so much better to be safe than sorry.

I drive my motorcycle everyday. I am worried about my safety. Yes, I careful myself but we cannot avoid those driver that are very careless. Aside from that, those who drive while drunk. Hope I cannot meet them one of this days.

No one in this is world is safe at all the time. I feel the safe is really regarding the luck and it is god who decides it. The only thing we can do at it is just lend our prayers to him. Accidents are just around and we can predict it but we can do avoid it so more care and watchful most especially when we are on the road. Keep safe!

In my country,happen every year a lot of traffic accidents.The biggest reason is drunk driving and violation of traffic rules.So I hope we can learn how to protect ourself,don't do some will damage our behavior.

There is no place on earth where you are safe. Any place in this world have a dangerous situation. Even at your own home, you can't be safe. For me, heavien is the safest place. Happy mylotting!!!

If you want to avoid road accidents than keep your security up to date as if you have a car than have abs and airbags installed in it and always follow the traffic rules as wearing a seat belt and all. This will definitely increase your security.
