Hi pandora! thank you for the greetings! It was great that my friend from work also have greeted me. It is woman's day today! ;) It is nice to be able to celebrate such a day and just be happy and think of the importance of us women in this world, and of course our contributions to what has become of the world. ;)

It's supposed to rain today but I'm still gonna have a good day, I hope we get some good food at work today since we're mostly all women

Oh, thank you, you are sweet :). And also, I'd like spring to come, but I think I have to wait a bit for true spring here, it's too chilly now.

I saw on the TV that today is International Women's Day otherwise I would never have known. What are we supposed to do to mark it? Obviously it does not have the same promotion as Mother's Day or Valentine's Day and I have certainly never seen a card for this occasion. I did not know of this until I had done the week's shopping and cooked the main meal of the day so I guess my day will continue to be totally unremarkable. However I have taken a walk beside the sea, although my husband walked ahead because I cannot keep up with his brisk stride - that's when I should have known it was My Day and asked him to slow down and celebrate it with me. It is quite pleasant out of doors and the grape hyacinths are spreading a blue carpet in the grass and the anemonies are flowering in swathes of lilac, purple and white. The lavender bushes are beginning to bloom an invitation to the bees. It takes a woman to notice things like that so maybe they are blooming specially for us to mark our International Day. Have a great one...

We also celebrate the begining of the spring, today the weather is good, the sun is smiling and i plan to make the things i like most and smile :) Thank you and wish you a beautiful spring!
