I didn't give up my work when I was pregnant. Besides it, I also went to study at night. I am glad for my right choice. Since I would not be ideal at home an didn't do anything. I was busy and therefore I hardly felt ill or had the terrible pregnant sickness. How about you?

When I was pregnant with my eldest son , I was still in College. I really didn't know I was pregnant that time. I was so stupid not to realize , really. With the next three pregnancies, it was with my third son that i was just at home. I was out of work that time and so I just tended to the family's needs.

I started working when I have my children already. But when I was still studying, I was pregnant with my youngest child. It was really hard but I was able to manage until graduation. I remember, I was always eating inside the class but of course the professor knew that I was pregnant just allowed me to do it.
Have a wonderful day!

I'm not pregnant yet, but I'm going to work until I have the strength to do that. I mean, of course, I wouldn't work a week before I'm due, but I would not let my salary go away, because I just wanna have a holiday while I'm pregnant. I'm a pretty conscious employee.

Good luck to you. Having a baby makes your mind & your body very uncomfortable, at times down right miserable. Just because your are a good worker now doesn't mean you will be a good worker when your ankles are swollen, you cannot fit in any clothes, you gotta pee every 2 minutes, you have heartburn, and you havea major case of brain fog. Oh yeah did I mention the hemroids, acne, itchy skin, emotional rollercoaster, back ache, gas, all the while some turd from the office wants to touch your big ol' belly.

It's good for you for felt good in pregnate,I know many pregnant women are very hard,my wife is one of them, you are lucky. ^_^
My wife quited her job when just know she is pregnant,I supported her very much, and in fact, her company is not very well, there are no good reason to stay there,of cause, resting at home make us lost some money, and couldn't enjoy the medical insurance, but nothing could compared with a healthy mother and baby, isn't it?
Now,my kid is four, and I accompany him with both joy and upset, but I think it's really a worthy experience everyone should go through.
Wish you and your family happy everyday!!!

When I was working, I got married and pregnancies occurred. Since I need maternity leave
for taking care of the baby, I went to the office till the end of pregnancy.

Yes and no. I did when I was pregnant with my oldest, but only for a little bit. Reason being is that job was hazardous to my baby's health, so I quit almost as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I became a stay at home mom after that so when I became pregnant with my youngest I didn't have a (paying) job. However, being a stay at home parent is a job in itself, so I was plenty busy enough after my oldest was born. I have to admit, I did get to take it easy while I was pregnant with my oldest, but I knew that would end after he was born, so I wanted to be able to savor it. And I did! As for having morning sickness, I'm happy to say it never happened with either of my pregnancies.
Happy mylotting!

I didn't quit working when I was pregnant either. I had 3 part-time jobs, was going to school full-time, and I was almost 40. The jobs I had weren't sit down desk jobs either. I had two waitressing jobs, and I was doing an internship at a Veterinary Clinic as well. I was never sick either. I worked and went to school all the way up to two days before my son was born.

That means that you are a strong woman who can work and study at the same time. Yeah. It is your right choice as long as you are healthy to do that stuff, that will be fine.
Anyway, as for me, I never experienced being a pregnant but, if that happen to me, I would work online instead of work outside from home. It is not that I choose to work online because of me being a pregnant but, I love working online rather than doing work outside from home.

no definitely not because it will just create adverse impacts and we must feel so tired at the end of the day,so it is waste

i worked until the day before i was expected to give birth. staying at home would have been boring. i guess i was lucky because i never suffered from morning sickness and nor had any other pregnancy related problems.
some women do have a hard time with this and the doctors order them to stay in bed. i know of a lady that was so sick during the 1st trimester and she had to stay at home otherwise it would have endangered her baby.

Hi there.
I am pregnant for 6 months. At first (during 3rd month), it was really difficult because I usually felt dizziness and morning sickness. I'm just lucky because my job is a homebased.

When i was pregnant with my last baby, i continued working this the day i know i was going to give birth. For some it is fine to do that especially if you are in a healthy state but there are some who are quite having a sensitive pregnancy and there might be complications usually they are asked to rest.

I don't have any child yet but I'm married. We're planning to have a baby next year and I still want to go to work even if I get pregnant. But I think I will take a leave from work once my tummy gets big, probably on my 5th month or 6th.

I worked right up till I was about 8 months pregnant with my son. After he was born I was allowed to take him with me to work for the first 6 months. I never stopped working since until we moved to the USA. I had family around all the time to take care of him if I had to work, so I was lucky in that sense. When we moved here, I didn't work till he started Kindergarten (5 years), then I worked part time, just to get out the house and have some adult conversations and company!
