peanut butter spread on first since jelly be soft enough that you can top on then or even give spreading stroke if you want presentation.

I start with the peanutbutter. I put it on one slice of bread and then I put the jelly on the other slice. I use a ton of peanut butter and very little jelly. I'm not a huge fan of the stuff unless it is home made. Since I don't know how to make it I get about one jar a year from my grandma. Doesn't last very long. lol

I actually mix them together then spread them on the bread.

When I make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, which is rarely, I spread the peanut butter first, then the jelly on top of that, then smoosh the two pieces of bread together.

Shouldn't you always put Peanut Butter on first? Because it would be pretty hard to put the Jelly on first and then try to spread the Peanut Butter on top!! How silly!
