Hello everyone.
Life is mix of joys and sorrows. Problems are part of our life. Like a new leaf on a plant, we come across a new problem every other day. We do our best to solve it. What is your immediate main problem which is bothering you and how do you intend to deal with it.
Have a nice weekend to everyone.

Right now we have an issue with my sons health which must be urgently diagnosed and treated.
Of course, getting the correct help here is quite difficult.
It can be a life threatening condition if left untreated.

It's good to hear that you do not have any major problem right now. Which is or what are the little ones?

My biggest challenges are to get organized and unpacked. I am not a particularly organized person.I will meet that challenge one box, one stick of furniture at a time.

@Marcyaz Wow, you are worse than me. I just moved into our new place 3 weeks ago and I only have a few things left to unpack. I hate packing and moving. We moved from the northeast of the USA last Oct 1st and this year we moved from that place to the now present home. I've had enough moving for now.
Good luck with your unpacking.

Happy weekend to you too.
i think you should inhale steam to get rid of your problem. If it persists, you could take an anti-allergic tablet.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that. You reminded me of my friend who has turned a care giver and needs to stay home for the sake of her father in law. She wanted to earn from somewhere. I need to get into touch with her. Thank you for reminding me. Sometimes, we are so lost in our own world, we forget.

i have lights, tiny ones, on a timer on my sun porch. One string is out and I have to check the basement and see if I have more lights, If not I have to find them in a store. Then I need to dust the string of leaves that I put around the lights (plastic) because when I touched them yesterday they were so dirty it gave me the creeps.

@PainsOnSlate This is a good time to buy string lights as they are all on the shelves for Halloween and Christmas. All colors are out there.

@dodo19 - I think most of us want more and more money. the reasons is our desires and requirements keep on increasing. If we fulfill, one of our desires, the second one surfaces.
Your eldest not eating properly is a matter of concern, but it could be sorted out through counselling her.
Hope things get better soon.

@dpk262006 well, several things. Money is one. We do get enough, but it's tight. My eldest can be a picky eater and it's sometimes difficult to have her eat. Some days she's great, while others less so. It's a concern. What I worry about is nothing life threatening. No one is terminally ill, or facing major problems.

@SIMPLYD - OH! I see you are worried about repaying loan (taken for your daughter) to your parents. I think if you are in a tight spot, you could very well informed your parents, that you will pay the loan later (instead of keeping quiet and not repaying the loan amount at all).

You see procrastination could be disastrous because we never know what lies in store, what is going to happen the very next day.
What you could do is - you could tell yourself 'Tomorrow never comes' so let us finish the job today itself, why wait for tomorrow.
I follow this dictum and I try to execute most of the things on time.
It is Okay to be lazy and procrastinate once in a while, but not every time.

You need to tune your mind that if you make delay in one activity, your subsequent activities will also get delayed. For example if you are to get up at 6.00 a.m. and you get up at 6.20 a.m., all your activities will get delayed by 20 minutes or more.
You could set an alarm in your mobile for completing or starting an activity (and now a days in most of the mobile handsets, you could set multiple alarms).
You could use either the paper calendar or the calendar available in mobile phone to mark an important event, so that you do not miss it.
Also, if you do not wear a wrist watch (thinking that you do not need to because you could see time on your mobile) you could start wearing a wrist watch to keep a check on time.
I hope if you follow above tips, it will help you.

@Ishani08 - I am glad to hear that you liked my suggestions and you are going to follow it.
It is good that you are in the habit of wearing wrist watches but instead of treating a wrist watch only as an accessory, you should make full use of it and you should check it regularly to make yourself aware of the time (I know now you will start looking your wrist watch to see if it is moving or not)

@dpk262006 Thanx a lot for the great advice.

And talking about wrist watches.. hahaha... I cannot do without wrist watches.
I love them. I don't move out without wearing one. Its my favorite accessory.

Do you need to make a presentation or something like that?
If that is the case, you should immediately start preparing for it before the deadline makes you feel nervous.

I have a lot of worries and problems. This morning I'm so sleepy and in more pain from loss of sleep. My condition is painful and loss of sleep makes it worse but the problem is getting more sleep. I can't nap since I work and even if I try to lay down for 30 minutes it would take me close to that time to fall asleep. I have in a flat until I get up to my house out-of-state and the woman upstairs walks like a hippo wearing high heels and does often, My cats wake me early and pain has me tossing through the night. I'm having coffee trying to figure the temp solution. Once moved I'm away from everyone and building a catio to keep my cats away from me at night and mornings. I have a lot of worries but dealing with them as I can.

@noni1959 - Your immediate concern appears to be lack of sleep and undesirable movement of your cat. You should make arrangements for you cat so that she should not come early in the morning and disturb you.
It is good to hear that you have courage to face your problems.

It seems that you are worried about your job prospects. You need to find a job as per your experience and qualification and you should start marking efforts for it. May be you get a job which is not commensurate with your qualification and/or experience, in that case you could accept the job and start earning. Once you gain some experience, you could switch over to a better job.
All the best.

@dpk262006 Currently I'm connected with a job I like right now but I don't think it will pay better than I expected in the future based on people's feedback. I'm planning my way through my career goals that why I'm going through some busy and tough things right now to reach it. I'll just let my emotions not get through me and just focus on my dreams. I just hope everything will go smoothly.

I think you should talk to her about marriage. You should inquire from her whether she is interested in marriage or wants to live her life as an unmarried woman? Communication is the best way to resolve the issue. To my mind if one is 31, she is already late for marriage. If she wants to get married, she should not waste much time and take immediate necessary action in this regard.

@delyaj30 - I agree with you that no one court her but don't you feel that one needs to make efforts in this regard if courting someone is pre-requisite for getting married at your place.

@dpk262006 I've had my share but often people invent their own problems that don't really exist. I try not to. If we could take the energy that people put into worrying over things they can't change, we'd power the world.
