Anniversary

Yesterday Henley and I celebrated our wedding anniversary.
By celebrating I mean we didn't do anything or go anywhere. Henley did go out and pick up a pizza for dinner from our favorite place. Other than that we just stayed at home all day.
Henley and I have been together for a long, long time. It's funny when you think about it. We have been together longer than we have been apart.
We met one summer when I was 10 and he was 9. Later we met again when we ended up going to the same school. It seems as if fate just kept plopping this boy right into my life.
And so here we are all those years later! Years of history behind us. I tease him sometimes and say that I'm too old to start over so I'll just keep him! But his the love of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Glad your love is just as strong as when you were younger. I hope you enjoyed your anniversary. My boyfriend and i don't do much for our anniversaries either always just have a night in.

Congratulations on a great love, a great anniversary and a great life together. I hope it was a good pizza and that sometime soon you will have a romantic date together. Even 'old' couples need this from time to time.

sounds like a match made in Heaven. I was almost 20 when I met the older man I married (we met in College) Life is good when you find the right person..

We've been together for longer than we've been apart too. We've passed 44 years and heading for 45. And congratulations on your anniversary.
