God is great all the time. We may not understand his purpose and his plan but accept it and say thank you.
Now the reason for my praise.
I have had an astrange relationship with my half siblings since my dad passed. I have wanted to repair us for the longest but there was just to much tension over my dad leaving money to me and me not being able to split the money because I was practically homeless at 24 yoa, they felt because they were his first children it should have been left to them. Even though they did not really try to have a relationship with him before he passed.
I've tried to reach out in the past but it felt like I wasn't being received. I was really at the point this time of giving up and saying it is what it is. But God said no try one more time, so I did what he said; and I know it was him because I don't have that much patients lol.
I've been needing this for myself and my mental healing. I reached out to my sister to let her know I want to see her on my upcoming trip home and she said she can't wait to see me and she would be willing to work on our relationship. That is the best Christmas gift I could receive. Had to share mylot.

This happens a lot and sometimes allowing them to have their space will allow to think about why they should mend the relationship but if you tried to reach out and they were unaccepting then you have to go on with life and pray that they will come around. I'm glad your sister is willing to meet up with you and I'm sure the reunion will be filled with happiness.

Yes it feels so good, it has been going on 11 yrs. I love my family so much I don't feel complete without making this right.
