Typos

Everyday when I write a discussion, I always double check it for typos. Most of the time it's okay but there are times when I have to go back and correct words. But for some reason, it seems like whenever I comment or reply to a comment, I seem to have a lot of typos. Typos that I don't catch until I am working on notifications and I read my previous comment.
I know we all make them from time to time but it's kind of embarrassing. I guess I get in a hurry and don't proofread. Whenever I do catch it, I quickly correct it. I guess better late than never.
Whenever you see a typo that you have made, do you correct it or just leave it alone?

You can go back and edit those comments if you want to fix your typos. I try to read what i write before posting but i usually don't make alot of typos

@simone10 I have actually gone back and corrected quite few these last couple of day. I am trying to be much more careful. But, we are only human and everyone makes mistakes.

I like when people point out that I have a typo but some people get offended by it

@whiteream I know, some people take this as a personal offense, I cannot understand why, we can all make a mistake while typing.

I always correct them. It's very easy though to read over something multiple times and still overlook typos. Our brains often filter out errors and make stuff look ok, even though it's not!

I miss quite a few, more often in comments than articles as I spell-check those while leaving shorter comments to be read with my own eyes but it is easy to overlook errors - once spotted I always fix the errors on sight.

I always edit things but sometimes I miss an error. I always go back and put it right perhaps because I was a legal typist and mistakes were not tolerated. Old habits die hard.

@simone10 If you are in a hurry you might not caught it right away. Can you correct Titles if you caught typos?

Always correcting it.....can't stand these errors. Though I make them a lot. It's normal, because we aren't expert proofreaders.

I do correct my errors in spelling. Sometimes, though I'm not fluent in English, I correct my grammar.
But i notice that some members here just don't mind of the readability of their posts, be it a discussion or comment. Wrong spellings like missing letter or swapped letters and still they continue to posts it. It just annoys me
