Would you put a snake in your pants?

Some people keep snakes as pets, I am not one of those people! It was bad enough a few summers ago that a snake was in the pool at the same time I was in it! Bad memories...let's move on.
We know there are stupid people but some guy in Oregon took a really stupid award. He went to a pet shop in Oregon, took a 2 foot long python and put it in his pants and walked out of the store with it. They have him on surveillance.
Putting a snake of any kind in your pants isn't very bright, but a python - really that's beyond stupid.

That is dumb. I am not a snake person and I surely would not put a snake in my pants on purpose.

I love snakes, but would have issues feeding them live mice and stuff, so never had one

Certainly doesn't seem like the brightest bulb in the pack to put the snake down his pants. Aside from putting it down his pants I wonder why the desire to steal a snake in the first place
