I Need to Exercise!!

I need to exercise.
I know the benefits of exercise:
-increased energy
- losing excess weight
- more flexibility
- better moods
- increased strength
So why don’t I just find an exercise I like and go with that? Well, I’m “too tired”, “too busy”. I “don’t have enough time.” The excuses are right there, and easy to use.
Well, I’m tossing those excuses out the window! I think walking is the exercise for me. I can do it just about anywhere, and I can adjust it to my energy level. I even have a nice gym membership that's not too expensive.
I’m hoping that putting this out here for thousands to read will spur me on to action. I need to exercise. No more excuses!
How do you get motivated to exercise?

I just recently got motivated to go to the gym every day. It's so hard - and I always have an excuse to use - similarly, I'm tired - I'm too busy - I'm lazy and so forth. The hardest part is getting motivated and getting to the gym or to the park or wherever it is you exercise. Once you are there, and establish a routine, it gets a lot easier to follow. But that first step is always the hardest...! Good luck to you.

I also have a gym membership that is totally inexpensive ($20 a month at Planet Fitness) yet I still manage to make excuses not to go. I am going to force myself to go in the next couple of days. It's hard to motivate yourself enough to GET there, at least from my experience. Once you get into a groove though, or a routine, I think it becomes a lot easier. I feel your pain though!

I'm already 32 and from there I know now that I'm not getting any younger and a bit overweight. which is why i started my exercise last year but i kept cutting my routine, my original start was january of last year but since my brother asked me to paint his treadmill, i suddenly stop. now im in full throttle again.

Don't think of it as exercise. Think of it as something fun to do.
You can set small goals and reward yourself when you hit them. Then set bigger goals. It'll add up.

My motivation comes from having better health and better looking body. If that isn't enough then whenever I am upset or angry it is also a great stress reliever.

dont exercise, not in the traditional sense. if you like to dance , go to a zumba class or dance in your place. if you like sports, go dribble and shoot a basketball for a while. if you like nature, go walking and take pics. doing something active that you like will make it not seem like exersising
