I could see Mt. Fuji today

My. Fuji from station
Japan
January 25, 2016 3:04am CST
I was out doing errands this morning and realized that the air was crisp and clear, so I went out on the Fuji viewing balcony of our local train station. The mountain was clearly visible (it usually isn't) and majestic and snow-capped. I enjoyed looking at it and then took a picture for you all! I hope you enjoy it! Are there any famous views near your house or work? I'm thankful to have one like this!

Aww...this is so lovely! I'm feeling so envious you, thanks for sharing. Unfortunately I don't live in an area that has a famous view nearby. I do get to see fireworks from where I live though.

I am feeling envious as well. We do not have anything as beautiful as that here. I do enjoy a lovely cityscape where I can see fireworks during Jult 4th, our independence day.

No, I'm on the west side of Tokyo. That's why I can see Fuji. What was your username?

That is fantastic Denise. Thank you for sharing this wonderful view. It is so good to see places around the world. Yes many beautiful places here in this state of Colorado. Many mountains, lakes, and beautiful sky.

Beautiful view! I see the Alps, looking at north and 5 km from our home, the Lake of Como.

What a well composed picture. I like how the tall buildings frame your image of Mt. Fuji.

My friend dreams of visiting Mount Fuji. I hope that she has the determination to travel there one day. She has the money but she fears flying. if she can overcome her fear, she will enjoy the scenery.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful photo. What a wonderful mountain that is towering above the traffic and between the apartments. It looked almost out of place.

A very cool picture. Does Mt. Fuji ever burp, causing small earthquakes there?
