Do Herbal Medicines Work for You?

Good day fellow lotters! Some of us here have health issues.Like me, I have been dealing with endometriosis since 2007 so it's almost a decade. I thought it would be removed when I gave birth but my ob-gyne told me that she could not find the cyst. Two months later I felt pain on my lower left abdomen, similar to UTI pains. It was then found out that it was due to my golf ball size cyst.Alas, my endometriosis recurred. Last January 19 was my 5th shot of depot-provera. According to my OB, I might undergo laparoscopy if my cyst will not disappear after 6 sessions. I am now thinking of naturopathy or taking herbal medicine. I watched a TV program where the host was a naturapathic doctor. There were several patients who were from myoma and ovarian cyst from using her products. Have you been cured by herbal medicine? What herb/s have you tried?

If homoeopathy comes under this category then I am a great believer and it works for me.

When I had the same problem as you, I had the cyst cut out at once. This was the best decision.

well, there are a lot of herbal medicines out there but of course not all of them have proven effectiveness. you can always try them but at the same time monitor your cyst with your doctor so you will know if the herbal is working or not.

same here. I boil ginger and mix it with honey. Sometimes, I just peel off the ginger and chew it. It's very effective for cough and sore throat.

Hi! I had major surgery last May 11, 2017. It lasted 5 hours. Doctors found pelvic inflammatory disease. Since 2017, I have been taking visanne with a three-month break every two years. Have you been to a doctor?

@Iam_jauntyjen Glad to hear that you are now free from the disease

@Iam_jauntyjen Yes, I did. The doctor told me to have surgery, but I'm still doubtful. My doctor also said I should take visanne after surgery. . Sorry, may I know how many centimeter is the size of your endo cyst when it is removed? Were your ovaries also removed or no?

Herbal medication has a longer history than so-called modern medicine science. However, the skill of the practitioner is very important. With the right herbs, you can treat the problem. With the wrong medicine or wrong dosage, you can suffer terrible side effects.

I do think that herbal medicines are applicable for less severe cases. Since the modern medicines were been created for particular diseases. For me, I would prefer doctor's advice if it is necessary to have medicinal plants to cure my disease.
