Anyone for a nap?

It's my day off and I am going to take a short nap. Oh, maybe it will be a long nap. Who knows? Anyway, I will enjoy it! My sleepiest time is early afternoon. I wish I could take a short nap every day, but that time is right when Middle School Choir meets! So no nap for me. I have noticed that some of them could do with a nap too, since it is right after lunch. Sometimes I wish I lived in a country where people are expected to take a siesta. Not a chance in this overachieving place! What about you? Do you have a "sleepy time" when you would love a nap? Or do you live somewhere where a siesta is observed? I'm off to nap now. See you soon?

Being retired we can nap whenever we like but right after lunch seems the natural time.

@Orson_Kart I know! I would be too. Mind you, we've had to live a long time to get to retirement. It doesn't happen without an effort you know!

@Orson_Kart I'm not jealous of retirement because I love my work, but I wish the whole school could go down for a nap like the kindergarteners do.

I take naps. I wish it'd be a requirement though lol. Enjoy your day off/nap.

We get a chance to take a nap during weekends only, else all day is spent at office. I love to go for nap on Saturdays and Sundays.

When I was young, I didn't need a nap at all. But as time goes by, I can feel that I am not as energetic as before. Especially everyday I wake up early and I go to sleep late at night. So a short nap will make me feel much more comfortable.

No siesta time here. I would love to take a nap but never have time with our crazy schedules (believe me, I could have used a nap the past couple days). I may not nap, but I am exhausted by night and literally fall asleep upon hitting the pillow. Speaking of which, time for me to go neh-neh now! Oyasumi!

I am always sleepy after eating. At night I can doze off after my meal in the sofa, but during the day, after lunch, when I am at work, it is a real problem because I am supposed to be alert. If I didn't work I would definitely nap in the afternoon.

taking a nap is like taking a double rest...very refreshing and energizing. I usually take a nap everyday, a 15-minute nap right after lunch at the office as we are allowed a lunch break for an hour. Prolong nap, however, gives me headache and makes me clumsy.Enjoy your nap!
