A Lot Of Catching Up To Do

Good morning friends. It's been over a week since I was last on myLot. I have fibromyalgia and RA and I had a really bad flare that left me mostly in bed with a lot of pain. My doctor changed my medication and after about a week, I am no longer in pain which is such a great feeling. He seemed to think that my pain was from fibromyalgia and he put me on Savella. It took about a week but now I think it must be a wonder drug because I am not in any pain. I haven't felt this way in years. It does make me tired but I can handle that.
About a week ago we had Daisy spayed and the poor little thing had a rough time of it. She was in so much pain that she would try and lay down with just her head and shoulders down and her stomach up in the air. She wouldn't eat either but the doctor said this could happen. Fortunately after about a day and a half, she was back to her old self. I have been having to watch her because she is so hyper and we didn't want her busting any stitches. I say stitches but she only had stitches on the inside. On the outside, she had some kind of glue and I have been watching her every move so that the glue wouldn't come apart. She has been healing really fast and I think in another week, her incision will be completely healed.
So, what has everyone been up to lately? Anything exciting? I have so much to catch up on today but I am looking forward to it. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!

Glad to hear that you and Daisy are doing good. Hope you feel much better in the coming days.
I believe I needed more of the catching up. Just recently learned that myLot is back to the paying site that it used to be. I try to go back to some of the post but with the busy schedule I have, I don't think I'll be able to catch up real soon.

will make up for a friend.
There is no more important than that all are alive and healthy in the first place and then work and play.
When everything is wrong with you you can not help but catch up.

Welcome back, I wondered what happened to you, since I have been here almost every day now. I am so glad you got help for your pain and that Daisy is is good.
What exciting news do I have? Well, I only need to polish one more synopsis and I will be ready to start submitting to agents and last Friday I received my diploma in the mail. And, though I really didn't want to go to a doctor about my foot, I have a friend who also doesn't do meds and suggested a doctor. I made an appointment for Tuesday, so I have faith that I will be back dancing again...

@simone10 Oh yeah, I am going to frame it and would like to hang it near the computer while I am writing.
As for this doctor, my friend said she is really good and my friend said she was pain free for a year now.

@Carmelanirel2 Thats a great idea. That way you can see it every time you are on the computer. Let me know how the doctor visit goes.

I am so happy for you about your book! I know you must be so excited.
Are you going to frame your diploma? I would.
I am glad that you are finally going to go to the doctor about your foot. Hopefully he/she will find out what is wrong and be able to treat you for it.

@whiteream Yes they really are. I love the breed and wish I could have a house full of them, but only adults, not puppies. Daisy broke me of ever wanting another puppy...lol. Talk about stubborn and so energetic. I'm getting too old for puppies.

It was so sad watching Daisy in so much pain and trying to keep her stomach off the floor...well actually her bed. We couldn't give her any pain medication until the next morning because they had given her something at the vet before she left.

Can something else be done for what you have or just medication? Can it get better? I am sorry about how hard it was for Daisy. I remember when I spayed my cat that I had before Sophie. I put a mattress on the floor for the dog the cat and myself. She would go off teh mattress and I would bring her back to it.
