Have you ever prayed for something so hard and for so long that it happened? I was having a very hard time in my life ten years ago. I was very lonely wanted somebody to share my life with. As the holiday's past and the New Year came forth I decided to attend mass every week as a sign of appreciation to God. In addition to that, I prayed everyday that I find a person to share my life with. As the year progressed I remained patient and had a feeling that my prayer would be answered. On December 13th on a cold night while I was out with friends my prayer was answered beyond measure. I met the love of my life (my husband). We have been married for ten years and have two amazing children. My prayer got answered and I feel it was because I remained patient and prayed very hard for something I thought was impossible. Prayer works. Have you ever prayed for something and in a way "made" it happen?

I agree. Prayer really works. I prayed for us to have a financial miracle as I am jut starting my job recently. Then it happened when my previous company just sent me an email about my back pay. I didn't even do anything yet for it to get fixed like doing the clearance and all. It solved our issues and I was able to feel relieved.

Yes, I have prayed for many things really hard during the past two weeks and I can see God responding as things start to happen.

If it wasn't God's will I don't think it would have happened for you at all. I don't think you made it happen, I think God was waiting for the right time to Bless you with your soulmate. Yes I have had many answered prayers that I am grateful for.

I totally agree. Prayer to me is very powerful and important in my life. I also strongly believe that spending time with God every week during mass is equally as important, it's the least we can do for him.

yes, I prayed almost for everything I ever wanted. Right from waking up in the morning and praying that the day should go better till the time I go to sleep and pray for no nightmares .Sometimes it did work out that the day went fine and sometimes it didn't , but for me , it works somehow, I don't expect a lot as I believe in what I do and I get paid eventually according to that . But as they say, if you pray, you believe in God and then your mind starts thinking positive and everything becomes postive.

I agree with you, prayer does work. I believe God always answers prayer, but not always the way we want. He know what is best. I am so glad that you prayed and that God gave you the answer.

Yes, I agree that God answers our prayers in the ways he thinks are best, even not what wanted to happen. When I went to mass this week the priest was saying the same thing during the service.

Yes, but prayer "works" because God is infinitely gracious and merciful. He knows what we need but loves us to ask.

Constant prayer is need everytime in order our prayers be answered.I am continuously praying to God for my requests.

Yes, constant prayers and patience to needed. I have been having some issues that I have been praying for during the last few weeks. I can already see God putting his plan into effect.

Nice , you have strong faith of our Lord, God truly gives miracles, heals and eases our burden. I love the Lord and pray and utter His name every minute of my life, without God, I will be nothing.
