I am feeling a little sense of satisfaction this morning after completing a writing assignment that seemed at one time to me daunting and insurmountable. I had to write something much more detailed, complex and in-depth than I had ever attempted before. I don't know if it was the lazy side of me that thought, "I will never get this done" or something else that made me feel apprehensive about this. However, once I decided that, "You know what? This is not too difficult for me. I can do it, no sweat!" I just beared down and got on to the task. I actually surprised myself with how well it turned out. I am not trying to brag but I guess I just want folks to know that something is only too hard if you convince yourself that it is. Make sense? Hope everyone has a great day!!

Something like this happened to me today. No it didn't, I am a professional liar and I was just practicing.

@jahunt That is a myth that I personally debunked by failure after failure. Wait, I was pretending I was @theblock again. I hope he doesn't see this, LOL

It does make sense, it is unbelievable what we can accomplish once we start focusing on it.

It's really inspiring to be inspired of something. I had also the same goal in life at this moment.

I can remember the first time I went out to do an interview for an article. It was a bit scary not knowing how the interviewee would react or if I would even get enough information to write a good article. It turned out that interviewing people is quite fun. Since then I have interviewed at the very least 100 people for different articles. I think once you get over your fear then you can do just about anything.

@jahunt I even wrote an article about the art of interviewing on Yahoo Voices. It was picked up by a guy who had a site on the importance of talking face to face (with my permission for him to do so).

I totally agree. You need that positive vibe to get things done. All that negativity will just drag you down
