You Can Do What You Set Your Mind to Do!

I am feeling a little sense of satisfaction this morning after completing a writing assignment that seemed at one time to me daunting and insurmountable.
I had to write something much more detailed, complex and in-depth than I had ever attempted before. I don't know if it was the lazy side of me that thought, "I will never get this done" or something else that made me feel apprehensive about this.
However, once I decided that, "You know what? This is not too difficult for me. I can do it, no sweat!" I just beared down and got on to the task. I actually surprised myself with how well it turned out. I am not trying to brag but I guess I just want folks to know that something is only too hard if you convince yourself that it is.
Make sense? Hope everyone has a great day!!

I can remember the first time I went out to do an interview for an article. It was a bit scary not knowing how the interviewee would react or if I would even get enough information to write a good article. It turned out that interviewing people is quite fun. Since then I have interviewed at the very least 100 people for different articles. I think once you get over your fear then you can do just about anything.

@jahunt I even wrote an article about the art of interviewing on Yahoo Voices. It was picked up by a guy who had a site on the importance of talking face to face (with my permission for him to do so).
