It's a brilliant autumn day here in New Zealand. The sun is shining and the temperatures are still warm enough to be out and about, enjoying life. It seems such a long time since I was here, but I do often think of those I was once in contact with regularly. Life has been full here - a little teaching, lots of researching and writing and a host of much more fun activities to keep me busy. My husband and I are off on a short holiday next week, to a small beach up on the Pacific Coast of the Coromandel Peninsula. There's not a lot to do there, but walk, read, eat, sleep and generally just relax and let the days slip by. I'm rather looking forward to it. I won't care if it rains or the sun shines, it will be an enjoyable time away. Smooch the Cat won't be too pleased. He has a lovely lady coming to visit and feed him every day, but he usually hides from her. I'm sure he'll be able to cope for a week! I'll try and visit here a little before we go, but can't make any promises that this will become regular again. Meanwhile, I hope you are all well and keeping busy.

It certainly is. We're celebrating our wedding anniversary while away and have found a restaurant with great seafood about 20 minutes away
